The three are African-American, but only Hughie looks it—both Benny and Lelia are light-skinned enough to pass for white.

POPSLa Strada(The Road:1954) Ending Scene okay, i confess i have never heard of this film until earlier this year and while watching it i didnt know what would be in the last scene. but when i saw it, i was literally stunned by its power. i cant remember a scene in the movies, especially that captured such monumental heartbreak, regret and loneliness. what was really devestating was knowing i have played that scene in my life too many times, it is terribly familiar.
