The United States two-party system is simply the post-beta form of the Soviet-style political spectrum, with the guise of liberty upon it’s aging fangs. Holding Hands The word paradigm (paradigma), compounded from it’s Greek root word δείχνυμι “to show”, accurately describes the dimension between the left and right party. This paradigm requires a vice grip of social ideology held together for stability. A single party’s influence can break, without a backboard to cater towards any dissidence. Two parties can stand up against one another to create both geometrically and intellectually a more powerful structure that can withstand intense dissidence from each party for one reason: the rebellion of the first party’s ideals are reciprocated by the second.

POPSHot Air: Welcome to the Obama Administration’s “New Transparency” I’m sure it is … for analysts and Fannie and Freddie workers, but I’m not sure taxpayers should share that optimism. The report states the U.S. Treasury will receive preferred stock paying 10% dividends and warrants to acquire nearly 80% of the common shares in Fannie and Freddie. However, the Treasury has already loaned $60 billion to Fannie and $51 billion to Freddie. At this point, it’s hard to believe more money is the answer. Maybe the New York Times was right: Democrats plan to talk about deficit reduction in 2010 but not do anything about it for now. Or as President Obama puts it: “Mr. Obama calls it “a false choice” to pit spending to spur the economy against reducing the deficit. His advisers say the president, and American voters, favor both " spending to create jobs in the short term, and commitment to spending discipline and deficit reduction over the long term.”

POPSPlaying A Character Palin and those conservative women who aspire to be like her love living in ignorance. They have been eating, sleeping, and working in pollution so long that they not only believe that is just the way the air is, but they advocate the air is not polluted and actually good for you. They buy into that twisted kind of logic because their survival and identity depends upon it. The stress of having to pretend to be innately superior at all times and buy into this belief system is more than the human organism can tolerate so they become angry, hateful, intolerant wanna be bullies who aspire to have a Sarah Palin book under their Christmas tree. To challenge them or doubt them is akin to heresy. Too bad they are buying into the myth that states there is only one reality because it limits the search in seeking any understanding for other human beings. Sad and pathetic.

Actually, the founding fathers believed one of our biggest enemies would rise from within: apathetic ignorance. Thomas Jefferson wrote, “If a nation expects to be ignorant and free in a state of civilization, it expects what never was and never will be.” One hundred and forty-five years later, President Eisenhower echoed Jefferson’s fear when he left office in 1961: In the councils of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought, by the militaryindustrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist. We must never let the weight of this combination endanger our liberties or democratic processes. We should take nothing for granted. Only an alert and knowledgeable citizenry can compel the proper meshing of the huge industrial and military machinery of defense with our peaceful methods and

I do not know this story is "absolutely false." To the contrary, I'm confident it's true. Twenty senators are now calling for an investigation, and each is presumably pretty well sourced in the Senate. If the charges are "absolutely false," maybe the White House will encourage Senate Democrats to call this Republican bluff. I won't hold my breath. What is absolutely true is that the threat itself is clumsy. The Base Realignment and Closure Process won't get started again for a couple of years, and Offutt is a nearly irreplaceable piece of America's national security infrastructure.

GLSEN’s porn pushing on 14 year-olds was OK because they were instructing the young teens on how to build dental dams and not on how to fist. Oh, that’s a relief. After all, shouldn’t every child know how to build a dental dam? It’s now clear that Media Matters will go to any length to defend any perverted act by any Obama Administration official. POPSMove to National ID Cards Delayed according to the American Civil Liberties Union. About half the states oppose the mandate, or have said they would never comply. Beginning Jan.1, the law was supposed to have blocked anybody from boarding a plane using their driver’s license as ID if their resident state did not comport with the Real ID program. But the Department of Homeland Security is set to extend, for at least a year, the deadline of the Real ID program that has raised the ire of privacy advocates. Homeland Security officials point to the 9/11 hijackers’ ability to get driver’s licenses in Virginia using false information as justification for the proposed $24 billion program. The American Civil Liberties Union and the Electronic Frontier Foundation suggest the plan is misguided, and might pave the way for requiring such IDs to vote or purchase prescription drugs. “Our biggest concern is that it is a national ID card. It changes the relationship between the citizen and the state,”
