POPSEcuador vs. Chevron: Do the Videos Implicate the Judge? Typical, under-handed attempt to disqualify anyone who stats the obvious against the accused. Evidence of Chevron is rife throughout this entire region changing judges will not change that fact. "This is a total trap on the part of Chevron," said Judge Juan Nuñez

POPSLatin Americans Ditch US ‘War on Drugs’ Reform campaigners have long argued that criminalization enriched drug cartels, fuelled savage turf wars, corrupted state institutions and filled prisons with addicts who presented no real threat to society. The US used its considerable influence to keep Latin America and the UN wedded to hardline policies which kept the focus on interdictions and jail sentences for consumers as well as dealers. The "war" was first declared by the Nixon administration. It’s about time more countries began viewing drug abuse as the medical problem it is. For some encouragement in support of this new direction look to Portugal who in 2001 decriminalized drug use and possession. Dealers are still jailed and subject to fines but users are sent to rehab and many don’t even use anymore. Drugs in Portugal: Did Decriminalize work? http://www.time.com/time/health/article/0,8599,1893946,00.html

POPSGood news in Taiji btw... john lilly, psychopharmacologist turned LSD-prophet who went into exile and became the founder of inter-species communications and was the focus of the 70s movie, 'day of the dolphin.' in his fabulously important late 1960s book, 'metaprogramming the human biocomputer,' he posed a thesis which has been largely accepted by the biological sciences community. called 'the 9 configurations,' he showed that the 1st config is a single-celled organism with a single command in its program and no way to change. as we come up the ladder to evermore complex organisms, we reach creatures; then creatures which can learn; then we arrive at the 9th configuration, including man, which can not only learn how to learn BUT CAN CHANGE THEIR PROGRAM, not only as a group but as individuals. lilly believed, as i and many others, that psychedelic agents can play a crucial role in the process of seeing and changing the buggy programs.

It only encourages them to continue ruining people’s lives everywhere.

POPSHow to pump water using nothing but air and secure a food supply for any community How to pump water using nothing but air and secure a food supply for any community Adams chose the Brumby Pump due to the high cost of purchasing traditional electric well pumps as well as the mechanical simplicity of the Brumby Pump, which runs on compressed air. "I wanted a simple, low-cost pump that would last at least ten years without needing repairs or maintenance," Adams said. "Traditional electric pumps simply can't achieve that, and it's difficult to find parts for them in rural Ecuador." The video shows Adams connecting the air hose to the pump, lowering it into the well, turning it on and producing enormous flows of water and air out of the return hose. In his set up, this water is pumped to a surface holding take, from which a second pump pushes the water through irrigation sprinklers.
