POPSCEO John Mackey's Whole Foods Alternative to ObamaCare & The Lefty Bloggers' Backlash
Brian Beutler of TPM noted the inclusion of a diet endorsement in the op-ed, and offered a translation of Mackey's manifesto: ""Whole Foods is the solution to all of America's health care woes." Other attackers had less time for mockery, and demanded a boycott: I Will Never, Ever Shop at Your Stores Again Users at the Daily Kos screamed their outrage, other bloggers linking to their hot-blooded denunciations. "Mr. Mackey," wrote one user named DarkSyde, "your extremist views on employee benefits and unionization have Mackey's Response: The WSJ Put Words in My Mouth Three days after the initial op-ed, John Mackey stated on the Whole Foods CEO's Blog that "Whole Foods Market as a company has no official position on the issue." Saying that he had written the editorial under the simple title of "Health Care Reform," Not Off the Hook , declared The Reality-Based Community's Mark Kleiman, referring to Mackey's response: "The title is the least . . .

POPSJobless GM Automakers Celebrate Saving The Planet In line with the green theme of the event, the General Motors administration created a special Saving Gaia Pledge Wall, which laid-off automakers were encouraged to decorate with symbolic drawings reflecting on their personal plans of greenifying the Earth. Wagoner's personal plans of greenifying the Earth included cutting 19,000 more jobs in the next few months, while making sure that the layoffs are conducted in "as environmentally friendly manner as possible."

POPSThe reason behind the Left's obsession with sex education "Hungary's youth, having been fed a steady diet of values-neutral (atheism) and radical sex education while simultaneously encouraged to rebel against all authority, easily turned into delinquents ranging from bullies and petty thieves to sex predators, murderers, and sociopaths."

POPSChronic cough? You may need more iron. Iron deficiency is more prevalent in Women than Men, because of different iron requirements, e.g. pregnancy and menstruation The body has its own set of priorities, with the allocation of nutritional resources . Iron helps regulate the proteins in the immune system, and the immune system is one of the first victims in a poor diet. Instead of antibiotics, an Iron supplement may be what is needed.

POPSAtkin's Diet Study - Not what the AMA wanted to see The study showed those on the Atkins Diet not only lost the most weight on average, but they also did the best for measured good cholesterol, triglycerides, and blood pressure, and did not have any differences in bad cholesterol. My opinion, find a diet that allows you to lose weight, but also eat right on it. Get out an exercise as well if you really want to be healthy.

POPSThe Environmental Impact of LUNCH!!!
Butter Me UP! The PB&J Campaign gives four main reasons why choosing a peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwich over other types of lunch food can have a positive impact on the environment. These reasons are all based on how much of the earth’s resources are needed to produce a meal that contains no animal protein, such as a PB&J sandwich, versus a meal that contains animal protein, such as meat, eggs, or cheese. By chowing down on a PB&J more often, an individual can make a difference in four areas, according to the campaign: global warming, water conservation, land conservation, and animal welfare. Because of the greater resources needed to raise livestock, the group argues that by eating a PB&J sandwich rather than a hamburger for lunch, a diner could save almost 3.5 pounds (1.6kg) of carbon dioxide emissions, and about 280 gallons of water. That meatless lunch could also preserve 12 to 50 square feet (about 4 to 15 square meters) of land from deforestation or other harmful practices.

POPSHave the governments lost the plot Have the elite lost the plot completely? Do they think by manipulating people into vegan diets that members of the public that are meat eaters are going to take it lying down. What about establishments that rely on meat products such as, McDonalds, KFC, and other food chains that get a percentage from their sales. Personally, I do eat fish, chicken, eggs, and cheese. I have gone vegetarian in the past, and my weight plummeted to where I was an unhealthy weight. If I eat red meat, I eat lamb, and very rarely. My diet is mostly fish and chicken. Milk is an essential source of calcium. I really think the government needs to sign themselves in to a clinic somewhere. They are really coming out with some absurd ideas. Funny enough about the breathing tax-I told my husband that they would find some way to even tax us on the air we breathe. What is wrong with these idiots? They really need to have their heads examined.
