Solution to killer superbug found in Norway
Socratoad
by Socratoad  Today 10:51 AM
Now a spate of new studies from around the world prove that Norway's model can be replicated with extraordinary success, and public health experts are saying these deaths " 19,000 in the U.S. each year alone, more than from AIDS " are unnecessary.

Ireland imposes new blasphemy law
blackroseheart
by blackroseheart  Today 3:02 AM
I'm reposting this far and wide. I wonder if they realize that this goes both ways. Now you'll have Xtians and Muslims and Buddhists and Catholics all being given a fine, because they all blaspheme each other! LOL Priceless!! All we have to do is get all atheists to shush up for just a little while, and watch the hilarity ensue! Then when they're all bankrupt from fines (and most likely jail time for not being able to pay those fines, eventually), THEN us atheists can rise up and call them ALL on being the biggest idiots to walk the Earth!

Unity at Last: Democrats Join Calls for Napolitano to Step Down Following Failed Attack
Antara
by Antara  Yesterday 10:19 AM    1
" New Jersey State Senate President Richard Codey, a Democrat, wrote a letter to Napolitano this week calling on her to step down. He said Napolitano, an attorney and former Arizona governor, does not have the experience for the post she is in. "We should have someone who doesn't need to go in there and learn about terrorism, learn about security," Codey told Fox News. " Ok, well, if Codey really means that, shouldn't OBAMA be on his way as well???

What Would Israel Do?
Antara
by Antara  12-31-2009    5
" Still, the advice is sound, no matter that Obama will never even consider consulting the most successful air counterterrorism that the West has managed to produce. The difference between Israel and the dilettantes of the West is that the Israelis are determined to survive. Or at least they are determined that their demise will not be due to the actions of a bunch of homicidal maniacs dressed up in doctrinal disguise. The West, meanwhile, lives to avoid offending people: a sure recipe for cultural suicide."

DCCC: Obama 'more aggressive in fighting al Qaeda' than Bush
jatfla
by jatfla  12-30-2009
Does this make anyone else just gag?!! What they call 'scoring points' I call sounding the alarm. And as far as putting "country before political party" concerning national security...that's just an outright lie and to suggest that we need to "learn from this episode" is the height of idiocy. Conservatives have looooong been aware of the ongoing and dangerous advancement of radical Muslim jihadists; we learned it already! How about the DCCC stop with the rhetoric and join the fight.

No More Expensive HGH Injections and Sprays - HGH Plus
david1234
by david1234  12-30-2009
It’s time to switch to HGH Plus anti-ageing hormone releaser. While HGH injections are expensive, HGH sprays are considered ineffective and dangerous by medical experts. Moreover, when a hormone is induced into the body from an external source, there exists a possibility of the gland producing the hormone going weak, or worse, ceasing to function. HGH Plus is the only anti-aging formula that works to stimulate the body to produce optimal amount of growth hormone. Since the naturalness of the body is not altered, excellent changes are witnessed. Go young naturally, with HGH Plus. For more information, Visit http://www.hghplus.net

Al Qaeda Failed. What About Us?
merrie
by merrie  12-27-2009    3
al Qaeda has tried three separate plots using the same basic technique -- get on a transatlantic flight and blow it up before it lands and before the terrorists are put through our border screening process. Every plot has failed. But if this doesn't remind you of the successive World Trade Center attacks, you're not paying attention. They've got a schtick, and they're going to keep using it until it works. 4. Unfortunately, TSA, the part of DHS that screens air travelers, doesn't use the bigger terrorist databases for screening -- unlike DHS's border officials at CBP. Partly that's because Congress forced DHS to leave traveler screening in the hands of the airlines for the phony privacy reasons described above. But it's also because airline screening, unlike border screening, is not well designed to vary the level of screening depending on the risk a traveler poses. In shorthand, it is trying to find dangerous stuff, not dangerous people .
