POPSJohn Birch | American Hero Murdered by Chinese Communists Captain John Birch's death were deliberately covered up by the U.S. government. The reason for the cover-up did not become evident until some years later. On September 5, 1950, California Senator William Knowland announced on the floor of the Senate that the murder of John Birch had been deliberately covered up by communist sympathizers to conceal the true nature of Mao Tse-tung's "agrarian reformers" who were trying to oust Chiang Kai-shek's government. As Knowland charged on the floor of the Senate, had the truth about John Birch's death not been suppressed by our government, it is quite likely that America's official policy towards the Chinese communists and towards Chiang Kai-shek would have been significantly different. Perhaps the American betrayal of China to the communists might never have occurred. On such seemingly small events do the fates of men and nations so often hinge.

POPSIt's Not Socialism, It's Communism ..... We know that he was greatly influenced by Marxists or people who viewed Communism sympathetically, not the least of which were his grandparents who introduced him to a mentor , Frank Marshall Davis, a member of the Communist Party USA. The recent United Nations' Climate Change Conference refused to take notice of the revelations that the data on which the "global warming" theory is based was falsified by a handful of meteorologists and climatologists in an effort to impose a global governing system. The interim first Secretary General of the UN was Alger Hiss, an American and secret Soviet agent. Virtually the entire agenda of American environmental organizations has been focused on an attack on private property rights and denying Americans access to their vast reserves of energy in the form of coal, oil, and natural gas, thus undermining U.S. growth and prosperity.

POPSLessons From John Galt "Depravity commands respect. Success is cast as evil and punished while failure is blamed on others and rewarded. Rand’s insights into the psychological state of collectivists—those who demand that we sacrifice our individual freedom and happiness for the sake of the state—explain what often seems incomprehensible to thinking people."

POPSAmerica's Epitaph Karl Marx dismissed God as a hoax, and Lenin and Stalin have added in clear-cut, unmistakable language their resolve that no nation, no people who believe in a god, can exist side by side with their communistic state. Karl Marx, for example, expelled people from his Communist Party for mentioning such things as love, justice, humanity or morality. He called this "soulful ravings" and "sloppy sentimentality." . . . Today we are engaged in a final, all-out battle between communistic atheism and Christianity. The modern champions of communism have selected this as the time, and ladies and gentlemen, the chips are down--they are truly down.

POPSObama prepares to surrender our money and sovereignty The Environmental Protection Agency has announced that it is going to take over the issue anyway. It does not need enabling legislation. This executive branch continues to ignore law and tradition, as it rushes down the road to socialism, or dare I say it, Marxism. But don't worry, it's all for the common good.

POPSa socialist revolution in America In the same year, a much more famous (and equally disingenuous) document appeared, called “The Port Huron Statement,” which was the founding manifesto of the Students for a Democratic Society (SDS). The Port Huron Statement did not admit to its socialist agendas, but called instead for “participatory democracy,” by which it meant a direct democracy (or “people’s democracy”) – a democracy that would embrace the economic order as well. This was exactly how Marx had described the Communist future, but the Port Huron statement prudently refrained from acknowledging that fact.

POPSTop Communist Sam Webb on the Healthcare Struggle Employee Free Choice, climate change legislation, immigration reform, and other key battles. Some left and progressive people dismiss this danger, but politics is not only about passing laws, as important as that is " it is also about gaining and maintaining the initiative, building on victories no matter how small, and expanding the breadth and depth of the coalition at every opportunity. It’s higher math, not elementary addition and subtraction. The health care reform fight is not over, of course, since the Senate has yet to act and the balance of power is less favorable there. Still, the House vote gives fresh impetus to the broader movement to bring its weight to bear on Senate deliberations and then on to the reconciliation process where the bill can be improved, including through deletion of toxic elements like the Stupak amendment that would curtail access to abortions.

POPSFunny stereotype essay on our visiting German market
You know those dystopian films that speculate about what England would have been like if the Germans had won the war? Well, they’d have made it into a theme park. Winter Wonderland, in London’s Hyde Park, is precisely what occupied Britain would have felt like if the EU had turned out to be the Volksunion. They try to tell you it’s a traditional Bavarian winter market transported to London with fraternal greetings for our edification and jollity, but oh, ho, ho, ho, it’s not. It’s the Santa has landed. It’s Blitz Noel. From a distance, it all looks like a regular fair: the carousels and Ferris wheels and a V-2 launch pad, the flashing lights and the colours, the familiar screams, the perennial Chrimbo game of spot the paedo with his festive sack and gaffer tape. But it’s not what it seems. I don’t like it, sergeant. The shifty young gypsies working the rides are just too blonde. Too disciplined and polite. They don’t smirk or stick their hands up your girlfriend’s frock on the dodgems.

POPS The $50 Billion New Socialist Media
As Accuracy in Media was the first to disclose, McChesney recently introduced Obama's anti-American pastor Jeremiah Wright at a celebration of the socialist publication Monthly Review. Wright praised Marxism and called America "land of the greed and home of the slave." McChesney has provided a platform for representatives of the left-wing media watchdog organization that also calls itself Media Matters. Topics have included "How hate talk radicalized the American right," "How the press rolled over for Bush," and "What liberal media?" The entire thrust of the program is that the media are too conservative and too "capitalist." No Fairness Or Balance Here The one-sided nature of the show is ironic since Free Press regularly attacks Fox News for not being truly "fair and balanced." Indeed, when one of its former board members, Van Jones, was being exposed on Fox News for his communist views and background, Free Press said this "visionary and principled" leader

POPS"Teabagger" The term Teabagger is not very PC. Then again it would appear that most people have become less concerned with civility, and more concerned with the egocentric need to discover new terms with which to degrade and dehumanize one another. Sad that they have politicized what was once just common civility, even referring to it as POLITICAL correctness, to a point that now there is an anti-civility movement growing by adults who prefer to maintain the ignorant childishness of name-calling and incivility by invoking that it is merely exercising free speech. Of course free speech entitles us to say whatever we want, even when it is hateful, but treating others, even those with whom you disagree, with human dignity does not take away free speech, nor should this somehow be equated with communism or naziism unless one also would liken the Bible to communist doctrine. Matthew 7:12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you... one of many verses. Be civil people.

POPSTheir Goals Where in the HELL was the outrage of these IDIOTS when George W. Bush dragged the rest of the country--not so much kicking and screaming--as shocked and awed into a mountain of federal debt and it's failure to respond to the worst natural disaster in US history???? I'll tell ya where--right there behind him every step of the way supporting his RICH lode of corruption, contempt for law, reckless disregard for national security, blundering of foreign policy, SLEAZE, and stupidity. Not to mention their savagery toward any critic and ferocious partisanship. Our short national attention span is their best friend. Well, guess what? I didn't buy what they were selling the first time and I don't feel sorry for the poor demented souls who spent their cash making Sarah smile.

POPSDisarming the Velvet Revolution I felt sick to my stomach. But then, communism in any country did not enhance people's characters. It deformed them. Everybody tried to survive as best as they could, sometimes compromising their own values and dignity. I do not know how that person feels today. Perhaps there is even shame and regret. When I look back I do not regret being born in a communist country. Yes, we were deprived of freedom and many other things. But it was an intense life experience which taught me to appreciate what I have later in my life. I also feel privileged that I lived through and participated in some of the most important and exciting historical events of the 20th century. The only regret I have is that my father indeed did not live to experience it. He died of cancer in 1982.

POPSFighting In The Streets - Life In Obama's America We conservatives have long talked about our willingness to fight for freedom. In a sense, that's generally been metaphorical, especially when talking about domestic rather than foreign enemies. With the far left now on the march, however, it isn't metaphorical any more. It's just one more sign of the Age of Obama--fighting in the streets, as the extreme Left has been empowered as never before.

POPSChina Bans Oba-Mao T-Shirts Before Obama Visit To view video please click on link: http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2009/10/obama-commie-gear-sells-big-in-china-video/ Two security guards happened to pass by at the moment I announced to the camera: “This is the T-shirt everybody is talking about.” And that was it. They scrambled towards us and tried to pry the shirt out of my hands. I didn’t give in. There was a bit of yelling and quite a scuffle. My producer Jo Kent emphatically stated our case. Photographer Miguel Castro kept his cool. By this point, we had everything on tape. We ended up being detained for two hours in the cold, maze of a market. A crowd gathered round. More security and then police showed up. They wanted our press cards, our passports, but most of all, they wanted the shirt. It was worth it. The shirt got attention on the air and sparked buzz online. In fact, some members of the White House pool and a few colleagues in Atlanta actually tried to bribe me for it.

POPSApparently, Communism isn't so bad anymore! Recall the liberals and their human-rights campaigns, which were directed to brutal regimes that were knowingly committing horrific human-rights abuses. Yet, today both conservatives and liberals are keeping their lips sealed with respect to the communist regime in China. Why, apparently communism isn’t so bad anymore. And apparently, human-rights abuses in China aren’t so bad either. Nonsense. Everyone knows that the China communist regime is brutal and is still severely punishing people for exercising fundamental human rights. What’s really going on is that neither the conservatives nor the liberals want to antagonize the regime that has loaned them the money to engage in their grandiose socialist programs at home and imperialist programs abroad.

POPS55 Foot Snake Shocks China ! The post claimed that the digger driver was so traumatised that he suffered a heart attack on his way to hospital and later died. The dead snake was 55ft (16.7m) long, weighed 300kg and was estimated to be 140 years old, according to the post. However, local government officials in Guiping say the story and photograph are almost certainly a hoax as reticulated pythons are not native to the area.
