POPS Dots, Not Connected Well, you don’t get to not go just because you don’t want to. Apparently was disturbed by what he was hearing from the combat-traumatized solders he was counseling. Very sensitive, couldn’t hang with the war wounds. Had poor performance reports and was himself in counseling. Sounds a bit like the psychiatrist, not simply unwilling and ill-suited to the military career he had chosen, might have been morphing into patient, or should have been, as he found himself increasingly conflicted at the intersection of various aspects of his life, which appears to have included a respectable level of stress and some potentially extreme contradictions. Given that he worked at the Center for the Study of Traumatic Stress, that part of it starts to sound like a very big dot that shouldn’t have needed that much connecting. Here’s another one, dot-connection in process. Had been the focus of some level of attention by federal agents for at least six months....

POPSTop 10 Devices Out Right Now Though we may make exceptions for purebred machines that far outperform their all-in-one counterparts, most gadgets need to earn their keep in a multitude of ways. Here are 10 of our favorite do-it-all devices.

POPST-Mobile to gouge customers $1.50 per month for paper bills Sign of things to come for other carriers? Aside from the reality that not every cell phone user owns a computer, when you contract with a service provider their billing has already taken into account the cost of all aspects of billing. This would in effect amount to a double billing. They are eager to pass off any expenses to them onto their customers, so, if T-Mobile realizes a savings in not printing bills, they should pass that savings off to their customers as well.

POPSFireFox Addon I don't usually clip this sort of article but I just installed this on FireFox and it's so good that I just had to share it. No, I have no interest in this addon except as a satisfied user and thought I'd pass it along to anyolne else who's been bothered by text and layouts that are just hard to read.

POPS50 Tools Everyone Should Own Yeah right. The problem with a list like this is that several of these tools can be of multiple-use so the list shortens by about 8. I've been buying tools for years as I need them and have ended up with all but 3 on this list but ask me how often they get used. Most of them end up sitting around never to be needed again. I don’t know who the author is catering to, handyman wannabes or the tool industry, but by suggesting that ‘everyone’ should own these tools I suspect it’s the latter. I gotta tell you, if I were to start over I would buy a hammer and a power screwdriver with several tips and then go to the local tool rental supply for anything else I needed. This way you don’t have to deal with all that unused clutter. All this excessive consumerism is way overrated.

POPSGathering storm The acquiring of and failure to discard seemingly useless possessions, causing significant clutter, distress, and impairment to basic living activities. That's the definition mental health researchers have basically agreed on for compulsive hoarding and cluttering. They also agree that hoarding behaviors cut across ethnicity, gender, and socioeconomic status, and although the elderly tend to hoard more than the young, they certainly don't have a monopoly. Hoarders can often be identified in suburban areas by the possessions spilling out of their homes, while in cities like San Francisco, they are often concentrated in smaller, concealed dwellings. According to a just-released citywide task force report on hoarding, there are an estimated 12,000 to 25,000 hoarders living in San Francisco.

POPSU.S. and Russian Satellites Crash in Orbit The European Union urged nations on Thursday to adopt a code of conduct for civil and military activities in space, part of an initiative to prevent environmental emergencies and the risk of space becoming another frontier for conflict. There are already United Nations agreements on launched satellites, and protocols on "space debris mitigation measures," according to the European Space Agency, but not enough detail is provided to prevent potential collisions. U.S. space authorities maintain a database on known man-made objects in space, but the details are scarce, according to the head of space debris office at the European Space Agency. Why must humans create clutter and junk everywhere we go? Patti Smith was right: the transformation of waste is perhaps the oldest pre-occupation of man

POPSPower napping can improve your performance! You can aquire the skill& get better at it if you find somewhere secure to rest, free from distractions phones people ect.Darken the area, use a blanket, set alarm, avoid a heavy meal. Kids can do it too at same time if you have them....It doesn't have to be every day, but try power napping when your physical or mental energy is running low. Remember you are not being lazy but making yourself more productive. If you do happen to oversleep during your power nap and you wake up feeling groggy, some sort of physical activity, noise or a shower can quickly reduce the grogginess. Or even good old caffeine, if needed.
