POPSPope Reasserts Catholic Supremacy Over Protestants His Unholiness reasserts the pre-Reformation, tyrannical and usurping tradition of Papal authority and Roman Catholic supremacy as if Jesus Christ himself taught or authorized his ceremonial priest-craft and Latin Mass ( which is idolatry ), where his Blasphemy, through waving his magic wand and reciting Latin formula ( hocus pocus ) is able to (if you believe this) transform (transubstantiation) mere wafers of bread ("heil presto"--poof!) into the "body of Christ"! Jesus and the apostles never taught such superstition (which hails from Roman paganism, mixed well in its holidays and ecclesiastical hierarchy). The Pope is following the false teaching of Simon Magus, the sorcerer, instead of Simon Peter the apostle. Ritual, ceremony, miters, crosses, candles, pilgrimages, liturgies, and shepherd staffs all make a show of religion (tracing back to Babylonian religions) contrary to the writings of the new testament.

POPSHow Is a Hurricane Like Christmas? From the comments: Your home is left in ruins by unexpected company. You spend a lot of time getting your house ready, and then you spend a lot of time getting your house back to normal. You spend more money than you plan to. You pray. People are incredibly kind and generous to one another. The spirit of giving is alive and well for both *Seasons*. And how about... You might have a tree in your living room, and end up discarding it afterwards.

POPSPolitics and the English Language - G. Orwell "In our time it is broadly true that political writing is bad writing. Where it is not true, it will generally be found that the writer is some kind of rebel, expressing his private opinions and not a "party line." Orthodoxy, of whatever color, seems to demand a lifeless, imitative style. The political dialects to be found in pamphlets, leading articles, manifestoes, White papers and the speeches of undersecretaries do, of course, vary from party to party, but they are all alike in that one almost never finds in them a fresh, vivid, homemade turn of speech." George Orwell

POPSThere were two royal children (German volkslied) She took him into her arms And kissed his lips so red Oh lips could you only speak So my young heart could be healed So my young heart could be healed. She wrapped her coat around her and jumped into the lake so green Good night my father and mother Never shall you see me again Never shall you see me again. The bells were tolling There was sorrow and pain for there lay two kings-children but both were oh so dead but both were oh so dead. POPSOne Year Since Madeleine Disappeared And yellow wrist bands from the Find Madeleine campaign were also given out and a photographic slide show of Madeleine was played to music to emphasise the positivity the McCann family has shown in the search for Madeleine. In the letter, Kate and Gerry thanked the people of Praia da Luz for their initial and ongoing support, as well as their efforts to help in the search to find their daughter, when she went missing one year ago. The letter spoke of Gerry and Kate’s hope that they will one day find their daughter and that their family can once again be complete.

POPSWith all the recent clips on Penises, here's one on Vainas from T. Robbins
PW: 'Without a Canyon of the Vaginas in which to peck our American tantra, in which to connect our hormones to the stars, we may be becoming psychological paraplegics...' You wrote this in 1988 in a travel piece about your journey to North Canyon in Nevada, the Canyon of the Vaginas. I was wondering - do you think we're living in an age of psychological paraplegia now? Or does this age of bare navels, solicitous bum cracks and jelly-on-a-plate busoms bring out the puritan in you? TR: : Those winking navels and peekaboo butt cracks just make me wish I was young enough to engage them in a more -- shall we say? -- hands-on way. All that erotic display is delicious -- as far as it goes. The problem is, we have no means in contemporary culture to connect the sexual to the spiritual. That is what is missing. When, for example, we consistently fail to place the vagina within any kind of sacred context, our non-clinical, non-priggish references to it run the risk of being only shallow, cras

POPSLight A Vitual Candle Online For A Loved One This is so cool. I lit a candle for my beloved Friend, Diane Marriot Mistrot, who died on my Birthday 5 years ago. It will stay lit for 48 hours. I promised her I would always love her and evoke her name often "if" she passed before me....(she promised if she did, she would come back and haunt me - a joke we had, that is no longer so funny.) I miss her so much. She was more than a Friend to me - she was like my Mother. I will always love her. Perhaps you, too, would like to remember someone is this nice way. Evoke their name. When I logged on,there were over 12,000 candles buring for people all over the World!

POPSWitchcraft in the Court of King Louis XIV??? It's stories like this that give witches a bad name. Ridiculous tales. She confessed "under torture", so would I. Reminds me of Bushie. Does he believe by not calling waterboarding torture, it somehow validates the confession?
