Imagine that - drugs cause people to do stupid things, even rob or kill. Who would've guessed? A group of 12 female rats, 35 days old -- an age equivalent to that of human teenagers about to undergo puberty -- began to be exposed to THC chronically for 40 days. Half had had their ovaries removed when they were 30 days old, half retained their ovaries. The day after the 12 females finished the period of exposure, they underwent an extensive training process consisting of pressing colored keys in a specific sequence in order to obtain food pellets. The female rats went from a 25 percent error rate to 50 percent error rate, Winsauer told United Press International. The study was presented at Experimental Biology 2009 as part of the scientific program of the American Society for Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics in New Orleans.

The MPD also found that the manufacturer exported a jet mill to North Korea using the Man Gyong Bong-92. It is suspected that North Korea obtained the jet mill to facilitate the use of solid fuel, which loads into a tank faster than liquid fuel when a missile is being prepared for launching. In October 2003, the Fukuoka prefectural police arrested the president of an auto sales company that illegally exported a trailer bed, which can be used as a mobile missile launchpad. In January 2004, the Kanagawa prefectural police arrested a president of a company in Niigata Prefecture that exported to North Korea a frequency inverter, which can be used in nuclear weapons development.

Harry Levine and Deborah Small put out a report last year that found that between 1998 and 2007, New York City police arrested 374,900 people for low-level, misdemeanor marijuana offenses. That is more than eight times the number of arrests on the same charges for the previous 10-year period (between 1988 and 1997), when 45,300 people were picked up for having small amounts of marijuana.

For many years I didn't drink any alcohol either, so this clip isn't personal at all. I guess I realize the need for many to tune out with something whether it be sex, television, food, alcohol or weed. I think we are losing the war on drugs although I don't think that particular war has been mentioned for the past 8 years.

The prime illegal use of drugs is of prescription drugs. One of the drugs that does the most damage to self and society is booze. The War on Weed is a failure, will always be a failure, and it's main use thus far appears to be to give permission for USA covert wars in Central and South America and put hundreds of thousands of those who might tend to be domestic 'social dissidents,' in jail. Now, too, it's being added to one of the reasons to kill people in Afghanistan; gotta stop them from growing drugs. If anyone is seriously interested in reducing interest in drugs then all drug advertising (pot or pills or booze, etc.) should be banned from TV.
