POPSBlogging Software I feel there are so many angles from which I could make a review of Andrew Hansen’s new blogging software Firepow. I thought I might focus here on one particular element of the program which I consider to be particularly intregal to the success of a blogger, namely, the ability to drive traffic to their blog. If you’ve ever started a blog, or any form of website trying to earn some cash, you’ll know it’s not exactly a case of "if you build it they will come". POPSIs Keith Briffa The Climategate Whistleblower?
I am of the opinion Climategate is the result of someone deep in the inner circle of the climate movement who decided to take a stand against the lies and deceptions. Someone who looked at the corruption of data and the suborning of the scientific method and decided they could no longer go along with ‘hockey team’ (as the crew at the epicenter of this scandal are known). Someone who had to turn in their colleagues, but couldn’t do it out in the open. I originally thought Keith Briffa was one of the top masterminds of the alarmist mythology, a mythology built up by a core of zealots who believed so hard in their AGW hypothesis that they ended up doing whatever it took to make the data show what they wanted to see. Because Briffa’s Yamal series, with its magically selected set of trees, was the only data series to survive the destruction of Micheal Mann’s fictional hockey stick graphs I assumed Briffa was a willing and active force in the charade of AGW.

POPSBud.tv - A good idea ahead of its time?
Why didn't Bud.tv work? AB certainly made a substantial financial commitment. It appeared that they were emotionally invested. And isn't entertaining online content that can be easily along from consumer to consumer a great idea these days? It's a tough question to answer and this article takes the position that it WAS a great idea, but it just came too soon. I tend to agree with this opinion, although I will also say that Bud.tv was just overt greedy marketing on a different medium. It didn't provide any value to the consumer other than brand oriented entertainment. It should have been more about the consumer and adding value to their life. It didn't need to always be about the brand. That's a hard concept for brand marketers to understand. Many will ask, "Why should I spend any money on something that has nothing to do with my brand or a link to sales?" Valid question, but good content that appeals to your consumer has everything to do with TRUST and trust leads
