POPSGot it. Barr is Not a Libertarian: but I still want to know who is a Libertarian besides Bill Maher. Can someone define it without negative comparisons (i.e. Barr is not Libertarian)? Tell me what this philosophy is instead of what it is not. And if you start with smaller government and a free market those are still comparative concepts currently owned by Republicans.

POPS'Nazi' Pope Runs 'Child-Abusing Cult,' says HBO's Maher I am no Catholic...or defender of Imus or Pat Robertson or the LDS; but why does this hateful man's remarks not receive the condemnation that they deserve? There seems to be selective outrage within our society. He appears to have his own brand of 'cult' thinking that he spreads with impunity.

POPSAmericans Are Smart - NO THEY ARE NOT!
Bill Maher's Friday March 7, 2008 episode of New Rules, says it all. Bill states, "Politicians have got to stop saying, AMERICAN PEOPLE ARE SMARTER THAN THAT!" Bill bellows, "NO THEY ARE NOT!" And oh, is he ever so correct in that statement. Read the article http://thinkingblue.blogspot.com/ & judge for yourself. WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH US AMERICANS? HOW DID WE GET SO DUMB? It is truly an embarrassment. But what can you expect when these same Americans voted in for their Commander-In-Cheif, one of the stupidest boneheads ever to walk this planet. I'm not saying Dubya is mentally incompetent but he is so dumb his presence sparked a slew of YO PRES' SO DUMB... jokes: Now enjoy Bill Maher's NEW RULES for March 7, 2008 http://www.thethinkingblue.com/dumbdown.html OR http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AsOHSHSzNBw Read article: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2008/3/11/embarrassingly-stupid-americans-one-in-five-believes-sun-revolves-around-earth.aspx

POPSBill Maher on Feminism During my brief subscription to HBO, I watched Bill Maher. For all his liberal bent, I believe he's come to the same conclusion about the "question of woman" as Nietzsche.. :)

POPSBill Maher is losing his edge! Maher's lost it While I was watching last Friday, I kept wondering WTF...why is he letting these jazzbos get away with that? He just sits there with a dumb look on his face. I kept hoping he would say something--but no. Maher's definitely lost his edge and I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw it...I thought it was me. I should trust my own instincts more, neh? Hey Bill, if by some odd chance you are reading this---WAKE THE FUCK UP OR GET OFF THE TUBE! a useta be fan... However, Matt Taibbi was great...his amusement of the panel's idiocy and sharp comments were the only part of last week's show worth watchin'. But then Taibbi's alway wunnerful.

POPSLocker-Room Mentality Of MSNBC, Alive and Well!
locker-room language is still rampant on our airwaves and elsewhere but should never be allowed to go unchecked. I was watching Bill Maher the other night and P. J. O'Rourke said something to the effect that what Ann Coulter says at 3 in the afternoon on TV, piped into millions of viewers living rooms, is language I (O'Rourke) would use in the middle of the night, at 3am, while I was roaring drunk. In other words, this pattern of inconsiderate thought should be kept to one's self. This type of bad behavior by anchors, writers, pundits or any, who supposedly represent segments of we-the-people, should never be deemed as normal conduct. DAVID SHUSTER, should have known better when that misogynist thought popped into his locker-room head. The fact that he ran with it, speaks volumes about our society's inability to consider all people equal, regardless of their political, racial, gender, sexual or religious differences from ourselves. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2St8qoXx1g

POPSAtheists, have a little respect, please Okay, this isn't exactly subtle, but I couldn't help finding it funny anyhow. Especially after Bill Maher, after once again laughing at the strangeness of Christian doctrine, is accused by Bill Donohue of not "respect the right of most Americans to believe in God" (http://snipr.com/1z044).

POPSP J O'Rourke I caught this on Real Time with Bill Maher last week and P J O'Rourke is really funny :-D

POPSBill Maher, Too Former US Senator and former Governor of Connecticut Lowell Weicker has reportedly endorsed Ron Paul. Discussing tonight’s debate, Weicker said: "Ron Paul is by far the best Republican running. He did great! He is what the Republican Party used to be!”

POPSFunny quotes on steroid use in baseball Here is another one: "Former baseball star Jose Canseco has a new book out. It’s a tell-all autobiography in which he claims he injected his former teammate -- superstar Mark McGwire -- with steroids. He also claims that President Bush, who was then a co-owner of the Texas Rangers, was aware of steroid use among players. A White House spokesperson says Bush was not aware of it -- nor was he aware of most anything during the early '90s. Mark McGwire vehemently denies the accusation – he got so angry when he heard about it, he picked up his house and threw it onto the freeway." --Jimmy Kimmel
