POPSCursing Capitalism The economy is still imploding, which is bad. I don’t know if Obama will do anything useful since our economy is based on capitalism and he hates capitalism. Also, our economy is in America and he hates that country. And anti-capitalism protesters are sexy hot, don't ya think?

POPS Barbie in a Burkha 'I know Barbie was something seen as bad before as an image for girls, but in actual fact the message with Barbie for women is you can be whatever you want to be. 'I have a Barbie in a wheelchair that was only out for six weeks.' The mum-of-two's own Barbie collection is set to be displayed at London's Victoria and Albert Museum in 2012. Barbie was first launched in March 1959 by American businesswoman Ruth Handler. The doll was joined by her long-term boyfriend Ken in 1961. Rosie Shannon, from Save the Children, said all the proceeds from the auction will go to the charity. She said: 'We are delighted Sotheby's and the designer chose to auction the burka Barbie dolls for our charity.' The money will go towards the Rewrite the Future campaign which helps millions of children around the world effected by conflict. POPSPalin The sophisticated sisters of both parties who get their jollies throwing rocks at an accomplished woman were particularly incensed that Sarah got where she did in such a "vulgar" Wasilla way.

POPSNew York Times Barbie strikes again I don't see this as a Sarah Palin story so much as a story about the Democratic Media Complex tradition of assassinating with lie, innuendo, and slander any conservative leader who they deem a future Ronald Reagan capable of winning theWhite House. Quayle, Newt, and any number of other lesser upstarts have been cut down in recent times; Sarah is just the latest victim.

POPSInside Art - Doctors and researchers regularly rely on CT scanners to create images of body parts like brains, chests and knees. But an artist-turned-medical-student in Manhattan is using one such machine to peer into the meat and guts of cultural icons like the Big Mac, the Barbie and the iPhone, creating whimsical and occasionally creepy images.

POPSMy Barbie ":And then, just as I was learning to love my decidedly inferior Barbie, her left foot was gnawed off by Ralph, our dog. Those were difficult times, emotionally. I wrestled with issues of unconditional versus conditional love, of guilt versus anger. I believe that was when I learned to sigh. She was my beautiful, beloved, short-haired, one-footed Barbie, and I only wish she were here with me now to help blow out her 50 candles." :)
