After all, they sent Ayer's girlfriend and other domestic terrorists of the Weather Underground to attack an Army dance at Fort Dix, an assault thwarted only by their own bomb-building ineptitude. If they had been competent, their attack on Fort Dix would likely have been worse than yesterday's assault. So what say you, progressives... was the massacre of American soldiers all you dreamed it might be?

Nidal Malik Hasan came in for coffee and hashbrowns most mornings, including the morning he allegedly shot dozens of soldiers. Surveillance video from the store obtained by CNN shows a man who, according to the store owner, is Hasan at the cashier's counter at about 6:20 a.m. Thursday (7:20 a.m. ET) -- about seven hours before the mass shooting -- carrying a beverage and dressed in traditional Arab garb. And when you see the effects of what they're doing to the economy, remember these words: We will survive. No -- we'll do better than survive, we will thrive. POPS Twelve Killed in Ft. Hood Rampage The facility, called a Soldier Rating and Processing center, handles administrative details for soldiers. Banks says two shooters were apparently involved. There was no immediate word on who they were, nor on identities of the dead. Banks says the second incident took place at a theater on the sprawling base. Another Army official identified that site as the Howze Theater. That official, who requested anonymity to discuss an evolving incident, said a graduation had been scheduled for 2 p.m. at the theater. President Obama called the shootings a “horrific outburst of violence” and said his “prayers are with the wounded and the families of the fallen.” With Associated Press reports.

POPS Nature Picking Up Obama's Slack Bear kills militants in Kashmir By Altaf Hussain BBC News, Srinagar A bear killed two militants after discovering them in its den in Indian-administered Kashmir, police say. Two other militants escaped, one of them badly wounded, after the attack in Kulgam district, south of Srinagar. The militants had assault rifles but were taken by surprise - police found the remains of pudding they had made to eat when the bear attacked. Animal attacks Wildlife experts say the conflict in Kashmir has actually resulted in an increase in the population of bears and leopards. Following the outbreak of the insurgency people had to hand in their weapons to police - which put a halt to poaching.
