POPSGamers show Aspbergers traits They are not suggesting that aspbergers syndrome is caused by gameplay, but the similar symptoms may give researchers new insight into the mechanism of autism. No doubt the brain of a game player is having particular specific sections of the brain reinforced by the game play, leaving other areas to atrophy. POPSA lifetime of restless isolation Music critic, editor, and writer Tim Page has a touching and painful essay in the New Yorker about his life-long as someone with Asperger's Syndrome to navigate through a world whose rules he could never quite figure out. It's a must-read for everyone, I think, but regular readers of this blog will probably guess why it means so much to me.

POPSThomas the Tank Good for Autistic Children Personally, I love Thomas. I watched it while babysitting my nephew and plan to have my own children watch the series as well. I think it's one of the best children's shows currently on in the US (is it still rerun?). And the toys are fun to play with, even for adults.
