POPSPolling Oxymoron It is not a polling oxymoron, it is hard wired within the American psyche. In essence, we are saying that we want peace but that we are not willing to lay down our arms,nukes,mercenaries and drones to accomplish it. We trust(and believe) Obomba when he says that it is too soon to withdraw. The fact that he is still in the White House after all he has failed to do so far, shows where we stand(kneel) on war(and domestic) issues. Namely, we worship John Wayne as opposed to MLK. BO preaches on the airwaves that this war is a "just war" and if we are not among those who swallow it hook, line and sinker, we are among those who either throw up their hands in resignation, those who haven't been informed, or those who thrive as status quo bootlickers.

POPSSurrogate robotic arms for monkeys This may be old but it isn't any less exciting for that. Monkeys are able to use robotic limbs, they are able to tell the difference from their limbs, the precision at which they operate those limbs is high enough to be useful and it is expected to be increased. This means that humans that have lost a limb could use robotic prostheses, while humans that keep all their limbs could potentially use supernumerary limbs. SciFi may not be completely out of reach.

"We have agreed to continue to discuss the topic of missile defense with Russia in a separate venue," he said. Putin's comments showed that the former Russian president is continuing to shape Russian foreign policy, which under the constitution should be set by his successor, Dmitry Medvedev. He said that the arms control talks were proceeding in a positive way and added that Medvedev and President Barack Obama will eventually decide whether to strike an arms deal. But Putin warned that a missile defense system would give the U.S. an edge and could erode the deterrent value of Russia's nuclear forces. "The problem is that our American partners are developing missile defenses, and we are not," Putin said. "But the issues of missile defense and offensive weapons are closely interconnected. ...
