Right -- if a liberal like Grayson calls out Republicans (who have no health care plan), they get their freak on. But I guess they have already been immunized to conservative insanity. Oh, and we have Rep. Gohmert saying this: Dems Would Allow Seniors To "Die Off More Quickly" This is standard conservative behavior that never gets mentioned by the media. It only comes up when a liberal is attacked and then they spend 24-48 hours to defend themselves and are forced to use these outrageous statement made by Republicans. And of course they have no traction, because of the defensive position the media puts liberals in.

POPS GOP Set to Propose Its Own Health Bill Republicans have talked about a variety of alternatives to Democratic efforts on health care, but decided to put out their own bill after seeing details of the legislation unveiled by Democrats last Thursday. GOP leaders hope to offer the measure as an alternative during debate on the Democratic bill, and a spokesman for House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) said Republicans would be allowed to do so. In the Senate, where Democratic leaders are pushing a proposal to create a new government-run insurance plan, Sen. Joseph Lieberman, the Connecticut independent, made clear again Sunday that he opposed the idea. These days we have conservative talk radio, Fox News, and alternatives to the "mainstream" media on the Internet. It is obvious that the Obama Administration and its progressive backers don't appreciate this new state of affairs. Ornstein contrasted what can be, under federal direction, to what we are witnessing "now on health reform," when so many dissenting voices are being heard. POPSChairman Max Baucus' Big "Compromise" Would Make Matters Worse There's more: Baucus' plan was supposed to be the moderate alternative, simply because it doesn't include a government-run insurance plan. But the "co-ops" it calls for instead are almost the same thing. Anyway, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid still insists that the "public option" will be included in any bill voted on by the full Senate. Finally, much of the bill for ObamaCare would be paid for with cuts to Medicare. Seniors will love that. (Not.) As we've said before, Obama and his Democratic pals on Capitol Hill are chasing radical dreams to take over a huge swath of the economy -- a project that would take a heavy toll on jobs, restrict patients' and doctors' choices and leave health care in worse shape. As the plan wends its way through Congress, it sure isn't getting much better.

POPSGet Rid of the HealthCare Mandate There is no current equivalent. While many states impose mandatory auto insurance requirements in order to drive, individuals have the alternative of not driving. With the health care mandate there is no alternative. If you exist, you either obtain "acceptable" health insurance coverage or you are taxed. The public option merely is necessary to make a mandate work. Many people will not be able to afford private insurance, particularly once the government defines acceptable insurance to include so many benefits as to raise the cost prohibitively. The public option, which inevitably will be subsidized, provides the catch basin for the mandate runoff. As more and more employers opt for taxation instead of coverage, and as the ranks of those facing individual taxation rise, more and more people will be forced into the public option.

These spas would let clients relax in an enclosed, private environment and breathe in the therapeutic mists which aromatically pervade the room.
