Somebody Call The Waambulance, Google Isn't Perfect
josefresco
by josefresco  8-9-2007
Everyone is up in arms lately about Google's TOS and search robot lockout. People point to the hypocrisy of the situation citing that Google relies on 'openness" from other web properties for it's news service. Everyone in the blogosphere needs to get over it, and realize that Google is a typical competitive corporate establishment that doesn't always "do the right thing" and will aggressively look to protect and grow their business model. Why do you think they are crusading against paid links? ( Ad Words anyone)

Five more books sites, all from Britain. First one is a "Women's Site" and my favorite among others. All have RSS feeds to follow the updates via news aggregators.

Rupert Murdoch say it's time for search giants to pay for content
boozich
by boozich  10-12-2009
The Journal, which is owned by News Corp., already is the newspaper industry's most successful Internet subscription model, with more than 1 million customers who pay for online access. "When they talk about people linking to them as if they are stealing from them, it's like saying, 'How dare you sell my paper and make a penny along the way?'"
