POPSMust Read: Scathing Critique on Obama's Incompetence
..... Iran sees how North Korea toys with Obama and continues its programs to develop nuclear weapons and missiles; Cuba spurns America's offers of a greater opening; and the Palestinians and Israelis find that it is U.S. policy positions that defer serious negotiations, the direct opposite of what the Obama administration hoped for. The reviews of Obama's performance have been disappointing. He has seemed uncomfortable in the role of leading other nations, and often seems to suggest there is nothing special about America's role in the world. The global community was puzzled over the pictures of Obama bowing to some of the world's leaders and surprised by his gratuitous criticisms of and apologies for America's foreign policy under the previous administration of George W. Bush. One Middle East authority, Fouad Ajami, pointed out that Obama seems unaware that it is bad form and even a great moral lapse to speak ill of one's own tribe while in the lands of others.

POPSThe Secret Plan to Pass a Global Tax So-called progressives in the U.S. are now openly pressuring the Obama Administration to go along with the proposal. "We need to make this bill a reality in the United States--and then take it worldwide," The Progressive magazine proclaims. Support can also be expected from the New Rules for Global Finance coalition, which runs the gamut from typical liberal-left groups to religious-oriented organizations. The main problem with the Lawson scenario is that the truth about massive corruption in the foreign aid business is a matter of public record. The Senate Foreign Relations Committee published a report in 1995 which revealed that the cost of foreign aid provided by the U.S. to the rest of the world since the end of World War II had already reached nearly $2 trillion, with little to show for it in terms of alleviating poverty.

POPSNATO’s Afghanistan: The Champion of Drugs Production N arcotics A nd T yranny O verseas And nearly ten years later, NATO’s considerable coalition has not managed to gain control of the country, the NATO-installed President, Karzai, is railing against his NATO masters because he has been accused of corruption and considers it is their fault (no really) and now we learn from the United Nations Organization that NATO’s Afghanistan, already the world’s leading supplier of opium, has now become the record-breaking producer of hashish as well. Wow, NATO 2 world population 0. Is this why they insisted on expanding eastwards (after saying they wouldn’t) to create new markets? So what exactly is NATO doing in Afghanistan, where the Taleban was supposed to surrender ten years ago and still has not, where heroin production has risen no less than 40 times in the same period and now Afghanistan’s claim to fame is world record holder of opium and cannabis production?

POPSJapan may scale back Antarctic whaling Japan has said they are looking at corruption in the whaling industry. It seems that the activists who stole the whale meat, en route to a restaurant, has also shown the system to be lying. That they could turn a blind eye to the menus shows arrogance, or ignorance. Should we agree to the view that minke whales are the rabbits of the sea and can be killed for food, the Japanese will put them on the endangered list in no time flat.

POPSTaliban to be paid not to fight After criticizing the Afghan govt for being corrupt ( a most hypocritical effort ), the forces have decided that corruption is the way to go. Bribery

POPSAfghan corruption threatens to topple Karzai, UN says The report says that Afghans were asked to pay a bribe on 40 per cent of the occasions that they met with members of the government and adds: “A political system operating under such corrupt conditions cannot survive.” The typical bribe was £100 in a country where the average income is just £260 a year but judges, prosecutors, police and government officials were demanding bribes of up to £600, with other officials such as teachers, doctors and nurses demanding smaller bribes. The report says it is “almost impossible to obtain a public service in Afghanistan without greasing a palm.” It adds that the Afghan people were “under the impression that it is cheaper to buy a judge than to hire a lawyer.” “Not surprisingly,” it says, “Most Afghans have no confidence that the state is able or willing to tackle their problems.”

POPSGlobal Healthcare Fraud Costs Put At $260 billion "They are ill for longer, and in some cases they simply die unnecessarily. Make no mistake " healthcare fraud is a killer." The report reviewed 69 exercises in 33 organizations in six countries to measure healthcare fraud and error losses. The combined expenditure assessed was more than 300 billion pounds ($490 bln) and the experts extrapolated their findings from Britain, the United States, New Zealand, France, Belgium and the Netherlands to get a global picture. Note that the United States is the only country in this survey that does not have nationalized healthcare. Data from developing nations would not have changed the global figure, the authors said, but were hard to come by, since the study included only exercises based on statistically valid samples with measurable levels of accuracy. The report found evidence for many different types of fraud, from pharmacists dividing prescriptions into small packages to claim extra fees .....

POPS The Question of Obama’s Loyalty
Thus there is no need to further kill jobs, weaken the US Economy, dramatically increase the cost of living, and tax America into oblivion. Obama’s plan is to tax the United States taxpayer and redistribute the wealth or money to Third World Leftist Dictators around the world. The United Nations, who will have their capabilities at corruption compromised by the ongoing exposure of the climate warming hoax offered this shallow attempt to revive the myth. Rajendra K. Pachauri, chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Control, offered up this insipid explanation as to the validity of his panel’s existence. http://bit.ly/4DAtbG Despite efforts to diminish the obvious fact that a science built on fraud is not science, it is a scam and nothing more, politicians like Senator Barbara Boxer, are instead on the attack (http://bit.ly/7S4A0P) stating that hacking is illegal and the US will prosecute the hackers for a crime that was committed in England .....

POPSLeaked Emails Won’t Harm UN Climate Body, Says Chairman
Pachauri said the large number of contributors and rigorous peer review mechanism adopted by the IPCC meant that any bias would be rapidly uncovered. “The processes in the IPCC are so robust, so inclusive, that even if an author or two has a particular bias it is completely unlikely that bias will find its way into the IPCC report,” he said. “Every single comment that an expert reviewer provides has to be answered either by acceptance of the comment, or if it is not accepted, the reasons have to be clearly specified. So I think it is a very transparent, a very comprehensive process which insures that even if someone wants to leave out a piece of peer reviewed literature there is virtually no possibility of that happening.” The IPCC, which was set up by the UN in 1988, is the world’s leading authority on climate change. It advises governments on the science behind the problem and was awarded the Nobel peace prize along with Al Gore in 2007.

POPSAl Gore Sued By Over 30,000 Scientists For Global Warming Fraud!
Collusion, Corruption, Manipulation and Obstruction Posted by Jeff Id on November 20, 2009 Ok, the little blog is running about 9 times higher volume than my old record. This means there are a lot of new people who are interested in understanding this issue. So one of the things I do is try to explain the issues the best way possible so not everyone has to be a climate scientist to figure this stuff out. It doesn’t always work but here we go. Despite what RC says, there are several glaring problems in these emails which Gavin Schmidt is working feverishly to gloss over. Here are the items I have a problem with. * Discussion of interference with IPCC procedures to block low-warming reasonable and published papers. * Discussion of removal of climate reviewers who are open minded to low-warming papers. The fact that in GRL this apparently occurred after these discussions is a problem. * Discussion with the government about denial of FOIA to any climate audit ....

POPSWhere in the World is Global Warming a Priority? Sure, there would be a huge transfer of wealth from the developed nations to developing nations, but that’s not what Torethy Frank wants. She says, “There is too much corruption in the government and it goes in people’s pockets. Give the money directly to the people for businesses so we can support ourselves without having to rely on the government.” As David Kreutzer mentions in his Politico chat wrap, there much faster and much less expensive ways to adapt to climate change than trying to change the temperature by capping greenhouse gas emissions. Mosquito nets and attacking breeding grounds of mosquitoes and building levees to protect against potentially rising sea levels are all much cheaper but dramatically more effective than signing on to something that would prohibit these countries to develop.

POPSJust give us the money... The thugs want the money but don't want to reform. These elites making noise are the ones who take bundles of American aid, eat the funds in corruption, still spout anti-American rhetoric, and support the Taliban while suppressing democracy and human rights of smaller nations like the Sindhis. Let's hope President Obama sticks to his guns and follows through with trying to enforce it. He may have to then finally give up this strategy and face the fact that he will not get honest cooperation out of Pakistan and its brutal, fanatic and dangerous military.

POPSIRISH REFERENDUM OUTCOME IS NULL AND VOID
IRISH ELECTORAL LAW FLOUTED, CANCELLING OUT THE RESULT Our published information that the Irish Referendum on the dictatorial Lisbon Treaty was rigged, is ACCURATE. However at the time of the Update to the report dated 2nd October (see below) we hadn’t yet obtained details of the WAY the Referendum was rigged and influenced in favour of the treacherous YES lobby. We now have this information. This is how the Irish were ‘persuaded’ to change their minds: (1): Ballot boxes may have been stuffed prior to the Referendum polling booths opening. Specifically: • Under Irish law, ballot boxes are required to be delivered by members of the garda (police) to the polling stations at 7:00 am on the date the election takes place. • This legal requirement applies to ALL polling in Ireland, whether elections or referenda. • On this occasion, however, the ballot boxes were delivered to the private residences of the polling/Returning Officers, 48 hours prior to the Referendum.

POPSUN to Emerge as Global IRS This spells the end of the U.S. as the world’s leading economic power. The UN and the IMF have positioned themselves as the world’s socialist authority whose ‘duty’ it is to spread the wealth to underprivileged nations in an attempt to form a more ‘balanced’ financial situation through a new global reserve currency, and a new global credit facility. The nerve center of this emerging new international socialist system will be the United Nations, a body that has developed a reputation for corruption and incompetence and whose "peacekeepers" have been implicated in sexual abuse and other human rights violations. This is in effect setting the foundation for that ‘new world order’ that so many people have dismissed.

POPSFirst Khmer Rouge trial begins in Cambodia A born-again Christian, is said to have co-operated with investigating judges - and is expected to reveal important information about the decisions made by the organisation's leadership. His information could help in the trials set for later this year of four other defendants, analysts say. They include the surviving top leaders Nuon Chea, Ieng Sary and Khieu Samphan, who are all elderly and in poor health. All four have denied any knowledge of the atrocities that took place under their rule. If preparations for their trials get bogged down, as seems likely, Duch may be the only man ever held to account for the Khmer Rouge atrocities, our correspondent adds.

POPSAxis Of George Soros & The Vendetta Against Norm Coleman (UN Secretary General Kofi Annan’s deputy and right-hand man at the UN) who was seen as spinning away any culpability of Annan and the UN itself in this travesty of a program. Coleman thereby clearly earned the wrath of George Soros, for the ties between Brown and Soros are tight and seemingly mutually beneficial. How close was Soros to Mark Brown? Soros provided an apartment of very advantageous rates for Brown; the favoritism bestowed upon Brown only began with that token of appreciation and support. Upon leaving the UN under the cloud that Coleman helped create, Brown was named the vice-president of the Quantum Fund run by his friend George Soros. Brown had no experience in the hedge fund world, but such sinecures are generously passed out by billionaires wanting friends that might reach high places—they are an investment (see Axis of Soros in the Wall Street Journal’s archives).

POPSCorruption creating humanitarian disaster The Berlin-based watchdog estimated that unchecked levels of corruption would add $50 billion -- or nearly half of annual global aid outlays -- to the cost of achieving the United Nations' Millennium Development Goals on combating poverty.

POPSAl-Qaeda breeding ground in Pakistan no international relief agency (United Nations, Red Cross, etc) is in sight. Some efforts made by the local government have also run aground by rampant corruption and lack of will to acknowledge the plight of these people at the highest government level. Worst of all, neither the Pakistan or American army, whose bombs have displaced thousands of children, women and old men, fail to acknowledge the consequences of their actions. To them the matter is closed and is not worth discussing. Let us write to our senators, congressmen, our national and provincial assembly members, our presidents and prime ministers and ask them one question. “We can authorize billions of dollars for the bombardment of the region, but can we also authorize a few bucks for the betterment of the local people?” I have said it before, and I will repeat again, “No amount of bombing can win the hearts and minds of the disgruntled populace.”

POPSU.N. Ignores Its Own Procurement Ban
The fact that UNDP, a $5 billion development agency, chose to override the vendor suspension is particularly significant, because UNDP is the premier agency through which the U.N. operates on the ground in most of the 160 countries that it services. The UNDP decision to disregard the blacklist inspired by the "serious" (UNDP's term) issue of the bribery of U.N. officials raises a host of questions about the actual status of the effort to clean up corruption within the organization's multi-billion-dollar procurement business, which was described by U.N. investigators in 2006 as wrapped in "systematic abuse," "a pattern of corrupt practices," and "a culture of impunity." Confidential UNDP records obtained by FOX News show that UNDP officials began considering the idea of using Corimec barely three weeks after the blacklisting was announced, based on a request from UNDP's Pakistan office. UNDP officials were fully aware of Corimec's suspension, and the reason for it.

POPSObama’s $50 Billion AIDS Bill Up For Vote
However, the United Nations over the years has greatly exaggerated the number of those with HIV/AIDS and it is still difficult to get accurate estimates of the problem. Richard Darling of the FAIR Foundation told AIM on Friday that federal funding for most diseases is being cut back while spending on AIDS is continuing to rise. fairfoundation.org/ On Friday, the Senate voted 65-3 to proceed to floor action on the bill, with many members absent or not voting. Those voting to invoke cloture and proceed included Senate Republican Leader McConnell. However, this does not mean that all of those voting to bring the bill to the Senate floor will support it when a final vote on the actual legislation is taken. Some lawmakers have been intimidated by AIDS activists coming to Washington to deliver funeral wreaths to those standing in the way of the passage of the legislation. Opponents of the bill have been labeled as “Global AIDS Super villains” by the homosexual lobby.

POPSJournalist Who Exposes U.N. Corruption Disappears From Google According to Stricker, on Feb. 1 someone e-mailed Google a complaint about Lee's Web site, alleging that Inner City Press was a one-man operation, thus violating the Google News ground rule that news organizations it lists must have two or more employees. Lee is vague about how many people work for the Inner City Press, but said there's at least one woman who works for the organization full-time, as well as "about half a dozen" volunteers. "If people work for us as volunteers, why does it not count?" he said. "Is it their business?" "The sad story about Google is that they're shutting people up and not doing a good thing for society by only defending their business interests," he said. "They have a responsibility to society in letting people speak out. And I'm not surprised that those U.N. agencies are trying to hide."
