POPSAmerican Troops in Afghanistan [PICS FROM OCT 2009] So there ya have it folks. American troops, helping the kids, bandaging their feet, reassuring them....in photos......oh wait, excuse me....this is called "celebrating slaughter......"....my bad. If you're dumb enough to believe our Americans are in Afghanistan, "celebrating slaughter," then not only are you out of your evil minds, but you can suck it.

POPSBUSH Best at American tradition: TORTURING since 1946 at least
What is unique is Bush making torture official government policy! What he said may never have in reality had any effect on how others treated captured Americans. BUT, now they have an excuse to justify their behaviour. In time his words may cause a large loss of US soldiers' lives. It was one thing to be torturing but very much different to make it US policy. This a clever man, at least in slippery sly way, behind the moronic appearance and demeanour and the consequences of his words should/would be known in advance of his flawed delivery. He has insured that there never will be American hostages, just dead ones, tortured for fun. This may have been the whole point. His job will be even easier now. No crying family member seeking their loved one's return. They are dead. Cindy Sheehan said he was a cold fish, deadly cold. He doesn't do funerals either. The president of DEATH doesn't do dead. Nor did he serve, unless holding up a bar counts. Some commander-in-chief. 'Elect' TWI

POPSCindy Sheehan's most devastating conclusion Looks like she reached that hard place into which so many adamantly refuse to look: These poor soldiers do not die "in defense of freedom." They die and die for political foolishness, no matter how hard we try to believe otherwise. No "freedom" was ever at risk.

PHOTO GALLERY Here are a couple of the photo's: For a larger pic visit the Photo Gallery link above, there are a few more photo's at link By Cindy Sheehan Smattering of Pigeons However the measly segment of our population that are still so willingly ill-informed and ignorant of the facts that they are grasping for straws. At the recent “Support for our Troops” rally that was held by the Republican backed and funded Move America Forward and Gathering of Eagles (who I like to call the "Smattering of Pigeons") groups last Saturday where they had 1/100th of the numbers of the true “Support the Troops” (and the people of Iraq)rally and march that was sponsored by the ANSWER Coalition, we pro-peace people were even called “Communists” several times. I have asked people what they mean when they call me that so-last century epithet and they say: “Yeah, you hate America.” Well, for all of those who have eyes but refuse to see, and ears but refuse to hear, this is what Communist means:

POPSOrange Revolution: IMPEACH Enough is enough, and this July 23rd we will launch a new phase in the movement for peace and justice. We call it the Orange Revolution because starting that day wearing orange will signify that you want Congress to START IMPEACHMENT and STOP THE WAR. The majority of Americans, who want to see Bush and Cheney impeached and want an immediate end to this war, are made effectively invisible by a complicit media. Wearing orange will be our signal to each other, and to the world, about where we stand. Anything orange will do: a t-shirt, a wristband, your shoelaces. Get creative and send us your ideas.

POPSPublic Final Salute to the Fallen What could have been expected of an AWOL cold fish with not an ounce of empathy for the families of the soldiers that he'd sent to their deaths for his LIES with illegal invasions. He nearly ran over Cindy Sheehan at Crawford to avoid commiserating with her on her son's death He could not find time to attend any funerals away from his golf and playing with himself. He banned any public images of the 'final farewell', probably to disguise his absence.

POPSCindy confronted by Bush supporter It's something that happened in Cambodia after we left Vietnam, yet the anti-war Activists who claimed they cared so much about those people never shed a tear for millions killed at the hands of the Khmer Rouge. There is every reason to believe history will repeat itself in Iraq.

POPSCindy Sheehan Really Means It Cindy Sheehan and her fellow protesters really want to see Bush and Cheney impeached, and every day, increasing numbers of Americans are beginning to feel the same way. I am so glad she decided to rescind her retirement from the anti-war movement. She is a hero to many, and an inspiration to those of us who feel congress is simply not doing enough to end this war, and bring Bush and Cheney to justice for the lies they told the American people in order to get our support for this war, as well as their trampling of our Constitution.

POPSPeace Mom Hospitalized um.. she is on a LIQUID diet..how is she dehydrated? I realize she was bleeding, but one would think being on a liquid diet you wouldn't be dehydrated. also it says that she ATE for the first time in 37 days... I thought she was fasting? Hospitals cannot make you eat.

POPSCindy Speaks Out and Leaves the Dems Cindy Sheehan makes some excellent points in this open letter to Congress. The Democrats were put into power after 6 years of total Republican control of the House and Senate primarily because the voters wanted them to end this war honourably. They have the vast majority of the country on the side of ending the war and cutting off Bush's blank check. Now that they had the chance to do it, they flubbed it and gave Bush what he wanted with the suggestion of "wait 'til next time." The public, I sense, is tired of waiting, and they do not see why the Democrats folded like a house of cards when they finally have the power to do something towards bringing this war to a close.

POPSSheehan on the Ballot Against Pelosi If Pelosi doesn't lose this one -- and I don't think she will -- it may damage her rep enough to get the gavel away from her. For me, that'd be good enough -- as a Speaker of the House, Pelosi is blowful.

POPSHeadlines Many Would Love To See Don't think it could ever happen? Well, no one ever thought a draft-dodging, pot-smoking, intern-groping perjurer could get elected president twice, be impeached, and then make a viable bid to become first "lady."

POPSSheehan challenges Pelosi for House seat Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill said that Pelosi, too, is frustrated with the ongoing war in Iraq but believes that impeachment would be divisive and distract Congress from improving the lives of working families. WTF? If we had impeached the frigggin' criminals, the war could be over!

POPSHow the left betrayed my country: Iraq It's interesting when you listen to what the Iraqis have to say about all this. But of course, people like Cindy Sheehan won't answer the question "what will happen to the Iraqis when we leave?"

POPSShattering the war consensus: Cindy Sheehan stands up to the crack house crowd
Pelosi, though she is, like the Clintons, sneered at by the thug right (and thereby gains street cred in ultra-liberal San Francisco, the district she represents), has paved the way for Bush's war-funding requests to pass time and again with her political gamesmanship in the House. Among many other acts of accommodation, she was also secretly briefed, along with a few other members of Congress, on CIA torture practices in 2002, and in the spirit of bipartisan amorality saw no problem with it. "This is a progressive, populist campaign. Every day that we exist and bring up these issues is a victory for us," said Sheehan, the grieving mom who became the public face of opposition to the war in Iraq. Now, with a staff of two, she is turning her challenge to that war into a political campaign. To the extent that politics is about winning and losing, yes, hers is probably a lost cause. But I see it as something else. I see it as a clarion stand for principle and rallying point for all w

POPSGold Star Families Secret Trip to Iraq “I’m here because I want to visit with the troops and let them know that it’s OK… it’s OK when they lose a friend… and to give ‘em a hug… and still let them know that we care about them, and that we support them 100%” Amazing how different people sound when you compare above to the rhetoric of the government officials/media that are suppose to represent them.
