POPSOn the origin of the Serenity Prayer - Zur Herkunft des Gelassenheitsgebets Reinhold Niebuhr (1892-1971) war ein in den USA einflussreicher deutsch-amerikanischer Theologe, Philosoph und Politologe. Der in seinem Serenity Prayer ausgedrückte Grundgedanke ist antiken Ursprungs. Ich gehe derzeit Vermutungen nach, die sich auf den späteren Stoizismus (Seneca, Epiktet) als Quelle beziehen, und verweise für diesen Zusammenhang auf folgende Webseiten: Stoicism , Seneca , Epictet .
