| Some things we learned this week on clipmarks.com...
Last Thursday we learned not to waste money on a decorative wedding cake now that you can rent a fake one complete with a hidden slot for the bride and groom's real slice.
On Friday we heard about the patient who shocked surgeons when he started bleeding green blood, just like Star Trek's Mr Spock.
Saturday we learned about the "gay bomb," a non-lethal weapon that would have distracted enemy soliders by turning them into homosexual lovers. What the #%$@?
Sunday we found out about a new diet pill that expands into a clear jelly-like blob the size of a tennis ball after you swallow it so you feel full.
Monday we learned about "pay by voice," a new system that lets you buy goods by talking into your phone. The company is so confident in its biometric voice analysis, it will guarantee all payments.
Yesterday we learned that the Chinese are running out of names. Currently 85% of the population share only 100 surnames, including 93 million who share the name Wang.
Today we learned that Japan will be getting a nursing home for dogs. For US$800 a month, pooches gets round-the-clock vet care and specially-employed puppies to keep them feeling young.
