POPSHollywood Still Forcing Gay Actors to Remain Closeted Hollywood producers and studios continue to have little faith in movie fans, and believe that if an actor comes out as gay, they will stay away in droves. This problem does not seem to exist in Canada, Britain, France etc. I can't help but wonder why it is that the U.S, even in these allegedly enlightened times, continues to be fearful of gays. I know the original Puritanical basis of the country is often blamed, but we must remember, those Puritans came from the same countries that are now much more accepting of homosexuals.

POPSKen Burns Sees the Light Concerning Brave Hispanic Vets Documentary film maker, Ken Burns, has finally settled his differences with the Hispanic community concerning his exclusion of them in his documentary about World War II. I don't know why it took Burns so long to finally acquiesce. I have never known of him to be unreasonable of bigoted concerning these kinds of issues. It appears all sides are very happy about what promises to be a remarkable new Burns film.

POPSHeath and Jake Are Number 1 Smoochers Although I am not one to give a whole lot of thought to who engaged in the hottest Hollywood kiss, it is still nice to know that we have come so far in our society that Jake and Heath could even be considered in the contest.
