Pentagon plans microchips for soldiers brains.

Like with 'IBM Verichip' this seems to be an attempt to introduce 'Organic Tracking Cookies'. All they have to do is convince people they are safe, or introduce them in a way that will not bother people (Like when they are unconscious, or offline) Soldiers, maybe, but when they talk about injecting them into trauma victims, they don't mention any approval by patients. Will it be left to the discretion of the treating physician ? Will they be obliged to tell the patient ? Will they consider the ignorance of the patient to be in the best interests of the patient, and the health system. Not long ago these might have seemed stupid questions "What is there to doubt" Surely we can trust the pentagon. They won't need an electoral roll, they'll have a catalog. Whoever gets the contract is going to make a fortune.

Medical microchip for people may cause cancer
    Amergin

To date, about 2,000 of the so-called radio frequency identification, or RFID, devices have been implanted in humans worldwide, according to VeriChip Corp. The company, which sees a target market of 45 million Americans for its medical monitoring chips, insists the devices are safe, as does its parent company, Applied Digital Solutions, of Delray Beach, Fla. “We stand by our implantable products which have been approved by the FDA and/or other U.S. regulatory authorities,” Scott Silverman, VeriChip Corp. chairman and chief executive officer, said in a written response to AP questions. The company was “not aware of any studies that have resulted in malignant tumors in laboratory rats, mice and certainly not dogs or cats,” but he added that millions of domestic pets have been implanted with microchips, without reports of significant problems. The FDA also stands by its approval of the technology.

This Video Zeroes in on the media propaganda and shows what this human microchip is really about. State Sen. Simitian calls forced "tagging" of humans with RFID chips the ultimate invasion of privacy. By K.C. Jones InformationWeek September 4, 2007 10:03 AM California legislators want to prohibit people from forcing others to receive tracking implants. Sen. Joe Simitian, a Palo Alto Democrat, announced that his Senate Bill 362, which would ban the practice, passed by a 28-9 vote last week. "RFID technology is not in and of itself the issue. RFID is a minor miracle, with all sorts of good uses," Simitian said in a statement. "But we shouldn't condone forced 'tagging' of humans. It's the ultimate invasion of privacy." The bill is headed for the desk of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger for approval. If Schwarzenegger signs SB 362, California will join Wisconsin and North Dakota to ban forced RFID implantation.

    Implanted Chips Hold Medical History

The VeriChip system is expected to help in emergencies, particularly with unconscious or impaired victims, said Soria, Wellington Regional's chief of emergency medicine. But the chip has raised some concerns. Last week a group rallied against a pilot program at West Palm Beach-based Alzheimer's Community Care that would allow dementia patients to voluntarily join the program, or have their legal guardians sign them up for it. hat hasn't stopped VeriChip from pushing its product. Firefighters, police officers and emergency medical workers, and their families, can have the chip implanted for free and maintain the service for life through Wellington Regional. They must sign up by Friday at the hospital's emergency services area.

Hmmm, if no one here is a Christian I'd advise you at least read the last book.. Can you say 666 and total control -- they already have us moving toward a cashless society (where they can turn off your card so you can't buy crap!!) . EZ pass already keeps track of where you're going at all times (also the tech. in GM cars) so you're already under watch.. even now on our computer.. With this chip in place its the final mark of the beast <> if you want to put it that way.. grrrrrr

    (RFID) Chip Implants

This scares the fuckin' PISS out of me. Aside from the conviences such a chip can provide, such as storing medical records, banking info(replace credit and ATM cards), GPS, and security clearance, I think the drawbacks are overwhelming. This is just one more link in the gov. control chain. Such a device would make it much easier for the gov. to spy on you and infringe your rights without you even knowing. With a couple mouse clicks, Big Brother can pinpoint your location 24/7, track your spending trends, and see when yo went to the doctor last. The list goes on and on regarding it's potential for abuse. This has the capability of giving the gov. control over humans that would be unprecedented.
