POPSCold War Grows Hot "again" I'd like you all to consider! Why would nations around the world, like Russia and China, be ramping up their arsenals like this? Sure, none of the powers ever really stopped, but there was a slow down in the decade past. At least a slow down in the rhetoric and boast of each side. And now we see all nations declaring their "superior" military power yet again. WHY? Because it's coming and they all know it. Some even intend it to be.
