POPSNew Rule by Bush Administration May Limit health Care Program Aiding Children I work for a program that uses the federal poverty guidelines. It's nearly impossible for a family to survive on those guidelines. For instance the income that puts someone in the "poverty" level at the federal government for a family of 3 like mine is around 17,000. In my opinion no child should go without health insurance and a quality education. These are two areas that I feel our country fails miserably in. When are we going to get our priorities straight and do everything we can to ensure that all children at least have the availability of both. The full article is here .

POPSAre the Oldest the Smartest? In my family I'd say it's true. My sister is the smartest by far. As the youngest I'd say that I come in a close second and then my brother, the middle child. That's my take on things though minus the standardized testing.

POPSFamily Kicked off Plane For Tantrum As a Mom I can totally sympathize with the family. It takes 5 minutes of coaxing to get my daughter in her car seat. From what I can tell though the parents were treated fairly having their money reimbursed despite the inconvenience.
