POPSTornados (picture set) Having spent the first 20 years of my life in Oklahoma City, enormous wall clouds (such as the ones pictured) and tornados were common to see, especially during peak season. I can think of several times mom would throw me in the bathtub or closet on the weatherman's cue (sometimes the bathtub is the only thing left when a tornado finishes wrecking your home). The most horrendous tornado occurrences were rare. Most often, they were quick and would cause some property damage, but they go as fast as they come. I do remember a couple of scary moments (close encounters) and later going outside to find rooftops missing from houses, and baseball sized hail on the ground. Rare, but it happens.

POPSProtesting Clippers could face Prison or Fines. Well it's too late for me I reckon, so I might as well just keep on keepin' on peacefully protesting. Now more than ever, it seems so necessary. This is another "I dare you" clip. Are they trying to scare, intimidate or threaten people to the point, that they just don't dare comment or clip or pop or blog or speak out anymore? Should I just cave in and "turn myself in" quarterly and bow down to oppression? I think not. I will not be silenced. If I ever stop clipping about all this, you'll know why. See ya in Guantanamo! - The White House's own recently de-classified strategy for "winning the war on terror" targets Internet conspiracy theories as a recruiting ground for terrorists and threatens to "diminish" their influence. - Chertoff pledged to dispatch Homeland Security agents to local police departments in order to aid in the apprehension of domestic terrorists who use the Internet as a political tool.

POPSWhat is Clipmarks? I just read this description of clipmarks by {{pokkets}} and literally got the chills. I believe one of the odd things about clipmarks is that it is very misunderstood by the general web population. Unfortunately, I think that is mostly a product of me being unable to properly explain it. So, when i see a description that so totally nails it, i get such a rush of excitement. Thanks {{pokkets}}!
