POPSWhat Would It Take To Prove You Wrong? This is a powerful question to ask yourself when examining your beliefs. Doing so honestly, will make you a clearer and deeper thinker. It can be the difference between a person who simply revels in wishful thinking, and a heroic seeker of truth. Take a deep look into your own belief systems, and ask yourself what evidence it would take to convince you they were wrong. It's an uncomfortable exercise, but an important one.

POPSHow To Rig An Election This is not about morality, this is about winning. What do we do about this? Accept it, as the rules of the "game" or should we demand better? It's time we got some honesty into politics. It has everything to do with morality IMO. Yeah, I'm a dreamer... How Politicians Vote Voting 101

POPSF*** Politics! Why the f*** did I clip this? I like the word friggin' much better. .:) Anyway! I saw someone wearing a t-shirt that said "F*** the President" and wondered if it was legal? (With letters and not asterisks though.) The f-word does seem to be becoming more and more acceptable as common language nowadays. Do I like it? Naaa, I guess I must be friggin' old-fashioned, but I loved the t-shirt though. *LOL* In 1971, the U.S. Supreme Court decided that the mere public display of fuck is protected under the First and Fourteenth Amendments and cannot be made a criminal offense.

POPSThe Iraq Conspiracy Why did we go to war? Was it the greatest conspiracy of our time? (Or was that 9/11? Hmm..) Anyway...here's are some guesses as to why we are in the Iraq and soon might be in Iran too. The petro-dollar theory sounds pretty plausible to me and understandable even, but it's also the theory which could have the most dire consequences...

POPSEducate Your Parents! Geeez. There's just something creepy about this kid, that reminds me of myself when I was little. All-knowing and opinionated... naaaa, I think it's the clothes. *LOL* (PS) BEWARE! There's a bit of foul language in the music at the end. Now ya know. (The f-word...)

POPSGuantanamo - Is it true? This site didn't lend itself to clipping, so you'll have to go to the site. Listen to a song, sung by Anne Linnet, who put music to a poem written by a Guantanamo prisoner named Usama Abu Kabir. You can read the lyrics to the left. The page isn't in English, but the "play" triangle is easy to find on the right.

POPSBush's Address on Iraq The long-winded speech on Bush's "New Way Forward" plan can be read on site. I would rather have heard him speak of a "New Way Outta There!" plan. This bit I do most definitely agree on though: Our troops in Iraq have fought bravely. They have done everything we have asked them to do. Where mistakes have been made, the responsibility rests with me.

POPSSaddam's "Fifth" Last Words The reason I clipped this, is because it's so telling that the truth is never easy to come by. This is the fifth version of Saddam's so called "last words" I've read so far. The different versions were: 1) Muhammad 2) Palestine is Arab. Iraq is nothing without me. 3) Muqtada al-Sadr 4) Down with the traitors, the Americans, the spies and the Persians. 5) Avoid engagement with Iranians Anybody want to go for a 6th, 7th .....or 10th version??
