POPSWhat Would It Take To Prove You Wrong? This is a powerful question to ask yourself when examining your beliefs. Doing so honestly, will make you a clearer and deeper thinker. It can be the difference between a person who simply revels in wishful thinking, and a heroic seeker of truth. Take a deep look into your own belief systems, and ask yourself what evidence it would take to convince you they were wrong. It's an uncomfortable exercise, but an important one.

POPSThe Collapse of "Irreducible Complexity" Against such a backdrop, the struggles of the intelligent design movement are best understood as clamorous and disappointing double failures – rejected by science because they do not fit the facts, and having failed religion because they think too little of God. As an icon of anti-evolution, the flagellum has fallen. This is not news. Irreducible complexity as an argument for Ăntelligent design has been debunked for quite some time, but some fanatical anti-evolutionists are apparently still desperate for this to be "proof" of the existance of God. It isn't. The article will explain why.

POPSMilitia Ex-leader Confesses To Child Sacrifice The evil mankind is capable of, never ceases to appal and sicken me. I cannot imagine what superstitious nonsense one has to tell oneself, to think ANY kind of murder, in the name of ANY religion or for ANY political agenda, is okay. Especially the murder of children. :(

POPSKangaroo Abuser Cites Man's 'Dominion' A reward has been offered if anyone knows anything about Tyson's whereabouts. As for the laws, the defense and the cruelty itself? Where to begin? Zoos in Canada only have regulations for native animals such as bears or coyotes. Keepers have no rules for exotic animals, including lions, tigers or kangaroos. "McElroy was brought to court for her manner with native animals and unfortunately it has nothing to do with Tyson's well-being," she said.

"To reach unification with the divine, one must... " Naaah, watch it yourself. *LOL* It's a pretty good video though, it sounds really *holy*. Are YOU prepared to receive this hidden knowledge? Haha. :p *sigh* So many religions, so little time.

For just $5,400, you can spend six weeks making sure you go without sex or erotica Pay heaps to NOT get laid. Wow, I don't think they should be expecting a stampede of people any time soon. *LOL*

POPSAudio Bible Online You don't have to read the Bible, have someone read it to you! The guy reading aloud has a pretty nice voice too. And so I say unto thee: What can beat hearing the "Word of the Lord" AND being able to clip at the same time? :p

POPSPope Feared Bush Is The Anti-Christ The Pope, who grew up facing the evils of Hitler and Stalin, knows evil when he sees it. An old article from 2003, but very thought-provoking! Now, I'm no Catholic, but if Pope John Paul ll (rest in peace) had such concerns about the "goodness" of Mr George W. Bush, then I sit up and listen. Are there any Catholics out there who know what the Church's or the current Pope's stand on this issue is now?

POPSThe Quickening The Mayans spoke a lot of "the quickening" of time and we are in the first half of the 21th century now. Some say the "change" will occur in 2012. Are we headed for some sort of noosphere? Exciting stuff, eh? .:D Peter Russell shows that humanity has reached a crossroads in its evolutionary path. Computers, satellites, fiber optics, video recorders and other technology, are the catalysts linking our planet into one, worldwide community - a "global brain". This technology, combined with a the rapidly growing human potential movement, is helping to create a collective consciousness that is humanity's only hope of saving it from itself. However, Russell warns if we continue on our current path of greed and destruction, humanity will serve only as a planetary cancer.

POPSYou Reap What You Sow What you think you create, energy is never lost only transformed etc. Even quantum physics seems to suggest there is some sort of karma. What exactly IS karma, if it exists at all? Divine retribution / reward of sorts, or just actions / reactions? Hmm...

POPSBeyond Belief Science, religion, reason and survival. Go to the site to watch the videos. It's bit dry, but great food for thought if you can stay awake through it. .:)

POPSWhat The Bleep Do We Know? Consciousness, quantum physics and the link between the two. "How far down the rabbit hole do you want to go?" Check out this link too, to see some more images taken by Mr Emoto, mentioned in the film and here's a link that explains the theories, by Dr John Hagelin

POPSBeyond Intractability A free knowledge base on more constructive approaches to destructive conflict. In today's world of wars, some knowledge and understanding of how and why conflicts arise, and what we can do to solve them etc, can only be helpful. LOTS more at the site for all aspiring "peacemakers". .;)

POPSOrthopraxy over Orthodoxy Beliefs lead to behaviors, behaviors create habits, and habits shape character. Drudging around endlessly through chapters and verses of the Bible (or the Koran), has never been one my most favourite thing to do. (Sorry! I find it long-winded and boring! *LOL*) I don't think getting lost in the details or analysing and interpreting holy writings to death, will get me any nearer the "truth". To me, it's the overall message that matters and that should be the same, no matter what religion (or not) one chooses to follow. Love thy neighbour, do unto others, love don't hate and do the right thing. That's pretty much my *religion* and the long and short of it all I reckon and it works whether you are an atheist or a believer. One size fits all. .:)

POPSBush Joins Pope in "Hall of Shame" It has always amazed me, that some people feel a need to single out other groups of people to be "the enemy" and to blame everything on. Intolerance is to be frowned upon. As with religion, there should be room enough for everyone. Some of my best friends are gay, or from other countries, or of different religions and colours and sexes, but is one friend better than the other? It still amazes me, that some people really believe so.

POPSEducate Your Parents! Geeez. There's just something creepy about this kid, that reminds me of myself when I was little. All-knowing and opinionated... naaaa, I think it's the clothes. *LOL* (PS) BEWARE! There's a bit of foul language in the music at the end. Now ya know. (The f-word...)

POPSThe Day I Died I'm going to be thinking about this all day! This was incredibly interesting! If the whole concept of consciousness after death interests you, you should watch this video. If you don't have time to watch the whole thing, watch the last half hour or at least the last 15 minutes It's absolutely fascinating!
