It's hard to believe what can come out of the mouth (butt) of Rush Limbaugh but his latest tirade is beyond belief, beyond disgusting, beyond loathsome. Yes it's very hard to believe this mindless little man could stoop so low as to praise the flood victims in Iowa, Illinois who happen to be mostly white and at the same time, condemn the Katrina victims with the same old rhetoric, innuendos and outright bigotry that the KKK type people carry in their bags of hateful garbage. Those poor hurrican victims, who happen to be mostly of color are responsible in the intolerant brain cells of Rush, for their fate. I know beyond the pale, is too weak a phrase for this criticism from a genuine butt-hole. When I opened this article, I thought it was going to be one of those same ole, same ole's, about smoking, drinking, overeating and unsafe sex, all the nasty, enjoyable habits we've grown to love. I was surprised to see it was about the rush to improve one's appearance by seeking out deadly cosmetic surgeries of sort. This is another one of those by-products from the advertisement industry who use "beautiful people" to sell the crap we buy... Subconscious messages are planted during these many ads, shoved in our faces, via magazines, newspapers, TV and any media we may tap into, to get entertained or informed. These ads, on a subconscious level make us feel ugly and useless because we don't resemble the actors or models who seem to enjoy their lives so much better than we. So what does one do to join the "beautiful people" crowd? They go under the knife! On the website http://www.thethinkingblue.com/limbaughcomments.html is a remake of the Rush Limbaugh video from YOUTUBE The only changes I made were the pictures. The original film had images of the devastation of war, on all people involved, the men, women and children caught in the horrors of war. I don't know why YOUTUBE pulled the video but I thought perhaps it was because of those sad pictures. We Americans get a WHITEWASHED version of the war and maybe YOUTUBE wanted to keep it that way. But if it was because of what Rush Limbaugh said on the uncut audio of his show and YOUTUBE was protecting him... THE SHAME IS ON YOUTUBE, who like so many on the right spin, twist and cajole TRUTH until it no longer resembles actuality, just so it will fit their account of reality. Apparently Rush was on another of his rants about how great Abraham Lincoln was, and how wrong the South was in the conflict commonly called the American Civil War. I listened to Limbaugh a great deal in the late 90s and up until about 2002. I finally became fed up with his attitude that every thing that Bush and the GOP do is holy. Limbaugh that those that expose the corruption in the GOP are liberals and working for the Democrats. As John Stossel would say, "Give me a break!" Limbaugh has also stated many times that he would like to see America be taken over by a "conservative" dictatorship, even going so far as to say that he could straighten out the country within two years if he were named the dictator!
