POPSIs Bill Clinton secretly campaigning for Obama? This short video is REALLY something to think about... Using Bill Clinton's own words to encourage people to vote for Obama. POPSHillary's CUTTING OFF NOSE TO SPITE FACE! Now read this article of more Hillary nose destruction... http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/washington/2008/04/hillary-clin-10.html Hillary Clinton dissed party activists and MoveOn.org Apparently Hillary Clinton hasn't always been enamored with the rambunctious nature of the historic fight for the Democratic presidential nomination. Speaking to financial backers after Super Tuesday, she blamed the party's activists and MoveOn.org for her early primary and caucus defeats, according to an item over at The Huffington Post. "MoveOn.org endorsed -- which is like a gusher of money that never seems to slow down," the item quotes Clinton as saying (there's audio on the site).

Can you say that about your religion. I think not! Please watch the Klugman video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ccysj3So0s A friend of mine has jumped the liberal fence and went over to the Ron Paul Republican side. I was a bit taken back by this because she and I were always on the same page when it came to religion, science and politics. We all change our minds BUT WHAT A LEAP. I sent her this little tidbit the other day... I was never smitten by Paul, but when I heard he believes life begins at conception and his totally insane quote that evolution is just a theory That's enough to convince me that he is just another religious nut. Anyone with religious based notions, floating in their conditioned minds should not be our leader. I found this statement on a blog: What has happened in our society when some of the most well educated people in our country, who are running for one of the most powerful political positions in the world, do not understand or accept the most b

POPSViolent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act-S 1959 From: http://betterbadnews.com/ Online policing of politically unreliable web sites (Senate Bill S-1959) will bring to the US internet what Yahoo has already brought to China: Internet related censorship services and jailed dissidents. Why is the internet tech community so quiet about this issue? The bill, (S-1959) misleadingly called the Homegrown Terrorism and Violent Radicalization act of 2007 is a thought crime bill. The bill was passed in the house under a curious suspension of the rules usually reserved for non controversial issues like the naming of a post office. ------ This doesn't sound good to me... Who is to decide whether your belief system is radical or not... Scary Stuff!!! Please sign the petition at: http://www.petitiononline.com/S1959/petition.html

POPSFun Media Source to Watch Iowa Caucus Join The Party. You Don't Have To Be Young... The Iowa caucus is an electoral event in which Iowa residents elect delegates to the county convention to which their precinct belongs. There are 99 counties in Iowa and thus 99 conventions. These county conventions then select delegates for both Iowa's Congressional District Convention and the State Convention, which eventually choose the delegates for the National Convention. The Iowa caucus is noteworthy for the amount of media attention it receives during U.S. presidential election years: Since 1972, the Iowa caucus has been the first major electoral event of the nominating process for President of the United States. It has served as an early indication of which candidates for President might win the nomination of their political party at that party's national convention. The 2008 Iowa caucus takes place January 3. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa_caucus

POPS The Power of Song Jason Leopold Reviews "Pete Seeger: The Power of Song" By Jason Leopold One of the sad truths about the Bush administration's historic foreign policy failure, resulting in the occupation of Iraq and the numerous constitutional abuses that followed, is that it has not led to the type of artistry reminiscent of the Vietnam War era. That's the feeling you're left with after watching "Pete Seeger: The Power of Song," an inspirational new documentary that pays tribute to the legendary folk singer and activist. With all due respect to Neil Young and The Dixie Chicks, there hasn't been a single musical artist to emerge over the past five years who has displayed a passion and an urgency in using the power of song to rail against the social and political injustices and inspire a generation to rise up the way Seeger has done for more than half a century. POPSLIMBAUGH'S NEWSPEAK!
Understanding Fascism Fascism has come to be a useless term in the past 30 years or so. In many respects, leftists are most responsible for this degradation; it became so common to lob the word at just about anyone conservative or corporatist in the '60s and '70s that its original meaning -- describing a very distinct political style-- became utterly muddled, at least in the public lexicon. A recent example of this was the report at Take Back the Media that Limbaugh had characterized antiwar protesters as "fascists and anti-American." It's clear that liberals are every bit as prone to confusing fascism with totalitarianism as are conservatives. The difference, is that the latter often do so deliberately, as a way of obscuring the fascism that sits at their elbows. It’s important that Americans of all stripes LEFT or RIGHT have a clear view of what fascism is- it is not an extinct political force. POPSWE DO NOT TORTURE?
Read johnnywaters9999 comment: --- “The US does not torture,” President Bush has repeated often—in the face of terrible pictures from Abu Ghraib and vicious stories from around the world. What is the President saying? Is it a lie or wishful denial, or positive thinking, or casuist ry, or political pandering? Richard Pryor had a comedy routine where he advised husbands caught in flagranto to counter with “are you going to believe me or your lying eyes?” Sometimes we deny by closing our eyes. But sometimes we deny by rationalizing; by attacking the facts with negation and reasoning. President Bush can say the US doesn’t torture because he redefines US and torture. To wit: The US is good and wouldn’t do anything bad. A few bad apple rogue torturers working the night shift at Abu Ghraib aren’t the US. And, aided by lawyers, he torques senseless the meaning of torture, restricting it by abstraction and redefinition, and by the Secretary of Defense special—reduction to the absurd.

POPSIslamic group to help America's poorest Any person who can support a political party who can turn it's back on the poorest in our nation should be nominated to the HALL OF SHAME. But, as usual these unfeeling types, come equipped with a backpack full of rationalizations to ease their consciences. I can understand we all need a good rationalization from time to time but come on ... supporting a political party who can so easily dismiss the poor, or react as though, anyone living in poverty chooses so...that's beyond unfeeling and is apathy, to the point of pathetic...

POPSBODY OF WAR - Phil Donahue's new documentary - This is a powerful film enlisting a "REAL" Soldier's plight to live a normal life after being injured in Iraq. His injuries, that left him paralyzed from the waist down, occurred after only 5 days of arrival in the land the Bush Cabal decided to invade. It's heart wrenching and inspiring. With songs written just for "Body Of War" by Eddie Vedder (of Pearl Jam fame). Tomas Young, the young man, the film focuses on (Rush Limbaugh's idea of a FAKE SOLDIER) is so courageous in his battle to maintain his sanity within a broken body. He represents all those who have sacrificed so much for the Neocon's idea of reality, while they (THE PNAC) themselves, forfeited nothing except for power. (which they still do not recognize as lost.) A must see movie for those of us who can see beyond the machismo delusions of war! Please watch the youtube presentation, showing a few scenes leading up to the birth of a magnificent body of work.

POPSTed Rall is America's BS detector (he's got his hands full) Ted Rall (born 1963 in Cambridge, Massachusetts) is a liberal columnist and syndicated editorial cartoonist whose political cartoons often appear in a multi-panel comic-strip format. Ted Rall's Work Style Rall is one of a new breed of editorial cartoonists who began in the alternative weeklies during the 1980s and early 1990s with wordy, abstractly drawn strips about politics and social issues. His abstract drawing style reflects a distinct break from the cross-hatched style developed by Jeff MacNelly during the 1960s, a house style that had become virtually synonymous with American editorial cartooning. CLICK THIS LINK http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/19/Rallcartn.png To see a Ted Rall cartoon depicting John Kerry and George W. Bush. Bush is always portrayed as Generalissimo El Busho - a vicious military dictator - in Rall's comics.

This website is more than a promotional tool for a book, although you can receive the latest news about The Shock Doctrine, read reviews, and see where you can purchase a copy. The process of researching The Shock Doctrine was so fascinating and revelatory that I was left with a strong desire to share as much of my own discovery experience as possible -- to steer readers to the books, essays, documentary films and primary documents that did so much to shape The Shock Doctrine. In that spirit, ShockDoctrine.com is designed to serve as a living companion to the book for readers -- particularly students and educators -- who want to delve deeper into the book's material and themes, and who want to see the evidence for themselves.(continued)

POPSPetraeus Report is Irrelevant
But the White House incessantly hypes General Petraeus and his endless military minutia because it distracts our attention from the real issues: failure to achieve the 18 benchmarks of "success." In truth, even the White House apparently doesn't "believe" the Petraeus report. Per Newsweek today: "Newsweek has learned that a separate internal report being prepared by a Pentagon working group will 'differ substantially' from Petraeus’s recommendations, An early version of the report, which is currently being drafted and is expected to be completed by the beginning of next year, will 'recommend a very rapid reduction in American forces: as much as two-thirds of the existing force very quickly, while keeping the remainder there.' " Don't Be Fooled Again Don't be fooled, my friends. Or should I say, fooled again? False promises. Bait-and-switch goals. Bluster and bumbling from the presidential bully pulpit. And always... hiding facts that don't support the agenda.

The incredible speaker John Pilger will give you (liberal and conservatives) an incite to what is happening in our fragile 2 party system of democracy. The lies and propaganda that is spoon fed to us as truth and the absurdities we on both sides of the political divide are led to believe. (continued on part 2)

POPSTHE SEPTEMBER TAP DANCE ON IRAQ: September 10th 2007 - Rep. Wexler comments on Gen. Petraeus testimony... "eerily similar to Westmoreland and Vietnam..." Rep. Ackerman asks Petraeus, the BIG question My question is while we wait for this to happen, how much more blood should we invest? If it takes another four years, I'd like to know from each of you your best, realistically optimistic view of where Iraq will be in those four years. And if it is, that we spend during that time another 4,000 American lives, creat another 20,000 plus people maimed for life, spend another 600 billion dollars, see our military further decimated more than it has been already, will...this...be...worth...it?

POPSKeith Olbermann. BUSH IS PLAYING US Bush's increasingly tenuous hold on reality By Adrian Hamilton One explanation for President Bush's rant against Iran last week, following his extraordinary speech comparing Iraq with Vietnam the week before, is that the pressure is finally getting to him. Presidential history, from Woodrow Wilson to Ronald Reagan by way of FDR, is replete with presidents who on grounds of failing powers shouldn't really have been allowed to go on. Besieged by events, cast down by the opinion polls, isolated by the loss of his closest advisers, it would not be surprising if this particular president was now losing it. http://www.campaigniran.org/casmii/index.php?q=node/2817 Join the Sept. 15 2007 March on Washington DC the next war protest!! http://veteransforpeace.org/ http://www.codepink4peace.org/ http://www.troopsoutnow.org/ http://www.pephost.org/site/PageServe.

POPSWHILE THEY ENJOY THEIR VACATION, IRAQ'S SADNESS GOES ON AND ON!
Lately, I don't agree with CNN's outspoken Lou Dobbs on many issues, but I certainly support his lament two days ago: "The idea that our president, this Congress take time off when we have men and women dying in Iraq, Afghanistan ... there's something at best unseemly about it.. POPSAmerica on the Downward Slope: (Bush taking slaps in the face.) BUSH: "My message to him is, when we catch you playing a non-constructive role, there will be a price to pay." (Later, a National Security Council spokesman had to offer a correction, insisting the threat was aimed only at Iran, not Maliki.) Then, to add insult to injury, just a week after Bush and Karzai met in Washington, Ahmadinejad headed for Kabul with a high-ranking Iranian delegation to pay his respects to the Afghan president "in open defiance of Washington's wishes." Think slap in the face. What made this little regional diplomatic dance all the more curious was the fact that Karzai and Maliki are such weak (and weakening) American-backed leaders -- thinkingblue: Everyday in one form or another there is an item of horrifying news coming out of this Iraq occupation by the US. If that isn't enough for Congress to start thinking and acting upon withdrawal then, I guess, nothing will..

POPSReligion promises, YOUR OWN PLANET? Lil' beyond social security.
Bill Maher, does it again, on Larry King... Do I ever LUV THIS GUY. He speaks, with humor, how RELICULOUS (ridiculous) the over the top religious nuts are. I believe everyone should be allowed to believe anything they want as long as their beliefs don't get them HOODWINKED by the conniving nutcases in charge of any particular religion... who try to spread their GOD like HE/SHE is a butter knife full of LARD... I use "lard" but I mean another 4 letter word. Life is one BIG mystery and anyone who tells you they know exactly what is going on in HEAVEN or the interstellar space full of interstellar medium is also full of that other 4 letter word. Bill Maher's states:: "I DON'T KNOW AND NEITHER DOES ANYONE ELSE!" Right on, Bill! ~~~~~~ The interstellar medium is the name astronomers give to the gas and dust that pervade interstellar space. While the interstellar medium refers to the matter that exists between the stars within a galaxy... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstellar_medium

POPSTHE WORKING POOR or THE MISSING CLASS So many people fall into this category... Not quite falling into the statistical poverty class because they may earn a few dollars above the invisible line drawn by economists. Everyday is a challenge for this type of family. Vacations are few, items of luxury don't exist, food is scarce and the roof over their head is always in jeopardy. Because they claw and break their backs to stay slightly above the invisible line... they themselves become invisible. There is an old saying that "The squeaky wheel gets the oil!" and since these people are too damn busy working their tuchus' off, they have no time to squeak until it's too late and they lose their employment or become ill or lose their working partner and then one morning they awaken and find themselves in a freefall under the invisible line quickly heading for the proverbial ROCK-BOTTOM. Like these next two paragraphs in this piece state:

POPSExistence or non-existence, which is it? ... existence or existence with a beginning would only be giving us chain reaction. Non-existence is perfection, and your opinions do not matter, beacause this is non-existence. But, in our little non-existence (earth, known universe ) science works so perfectly, not because it is science or science is god, but we convert perception into science, for example, we observe that earth is going around the sun, and we decide to make it a "science fact" that earth goes around the sun every 365 days, from the perspective of non-existence, such event does not even take place, from the perspective of some other dimension, earth and sun are moving parallel to each other in form of rays of light. I would like to say " non-existence is beautiful ' however i don't even exist... and such comment does not exist, never have, all this stuff you just read, never happened. Pretty cool huh. . http://www.thinkingblue.blogspot.com

POPSVITTER'S WIFE, WAS "MORE LIKE LORENA BOBBITT!" Oh how easy it is to judge the conduct of another's distress... until the same woe happens to you. That is why Mathew wrote the parable 'JUDGE NOT!" "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why to you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me remove the speck from your eye'; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck fro your brother's eye" (Matthew 7:1-5).

POPSBush Aide Blocked Health Report William R. Steiger, a specialist in education and a scholar of Latin American history whose family has long ties to President Bush and Vice President Cheney. Since 2001, Steiger has run the Office of Global Health Affairs in the Department of Health and Human Services. Richard H. Carmona, who commissioned the "Call to Action on Global Health" while serving as surgeon general from 2002 to 2006, recently cited its suppression as an example of the Bush administration's frequent efforts during his tenure to give scientific documents a political twist. Steiger said that "political considerations" did not delay the report; "sloppy work, poor analysis, and lack of scientific rigor did." (OF COURSE WE ALL BELIEVE THAT!) Steiger, 37, is godson of former pres George H.W. Bush and son of a Republican who represented Wisconsin in the House WHO hired a young Dick Cheney as an intern... (CRONYISM TO THE HIGHEST DEGREE!)

POPShaji haji haji A GLIMPSE INTO HELL! What if you spoke regularly of "haji food," "haji music" and "haji homes"? HAJI: (MEANING) One who has made a pilgrimage to Mecca. An article has been written about the macabre, psychotic perspective the people of Iraq and our soldiers are witnessing as the war goes on and on. The whitewashing by the mainstream media makes one believe IT'S NOT SO BAD AS WAR GOES... But as war goes, it is a horrendous nightmare never to be forgotten. I hope Bush and his Neocon cronies will read this report but I know they WILL NOT! Better to delude oneself when a gargantuan mistake such as this war is made. I am sure they, the culprits who created this hellhole must be using all means possible such as, deluding, deceiving and bamboozling themselves (they can no longer do that to us) to save their sanity. Unfortunately our guys on the Iraqi soil and those who were born there have no such means.
