An email I received today prompted me to create this page. I wanted to blog this information so that people could become aware of another yet malicious virus program circulating the Internet systems. Perhaps, this menace to our computing well-being should be an important issue for our presidential candidates to address. If it isn't today then I'm sure it will be in the future when threats to society will be of a high-tech, elusive nature which can be more lethal than the WMD intimidation, thrust upon us 7/24. If there is anything that can take our economic stability down faster than Corporate greed, it is the powerful control of our cyber-machines, by cyber-terrorists.

I hope Barack Obama gets the Dem nomination. I don't like the way Hillary Clinton has gone negative. After all the dirty low-down republican antics that had plagued her you'd think she would know better. Deep down inside, I'm a bit frustrated with the Clinton's... I blame old Billy Boy for the Neocon havoc we have had to endure these past 7 years... If it weren't for his out of control, beyond reason, lust and the few idiotic moments of pleasure he received by catering to his insatiable sexual appetite... we would have a different world today instead of this maddening one. I don't know if Obama will make a good leader but one thing for sure, he will give us the hope we have been denied for so long. I made another youtube video featuring him... probably won't do anything to help him get the nomination but it sure is fun creating these things... Obama is an easy subject for encouragement... his every stance shouts HOPE. Here is the link... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PMFfe1v6AKE

    A Valentine Gift For America
    thinkingblue
    by thinkingblue  2-14-2008    1
It's been a long time since I've felt inspired by a presidential race. Not since JFK, and I was too young to vote for him. Like Kennedy I get a chill and teary eyed when Obama speaks. It's been a long time but it feels good. So to those who, still possess hope. Hope that our country can survive the disunion brought about by so many administrations. We've been blinded by insincere words and lies. The band-aid cures diagnosed by those at the top who seem to think war is the answer to any problem. We now have a chance to put all this behind us. I hope we grasp this opportunity. We may not get another one! Barack Obama, knows he can't do this alone. He doesn't say, he's the decider so you can go shopping. He tells us, he needs our help, because we are all the grown-ups in this problematic life. We all need to pitch in if we want to save our standing in this world. I think I'm in love again, love for my country. Happy Valentine's Day '08! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWcw2OEyhXI

January is “Poverty in America Awareness Month”
    thinkingblue
    by thinkingblue  1-9-2008
Today, 36.5 million Americans—and 1 in 6 children (that’s 17.4 percent of all American children)—are living below the poverty line. They live in families who are of necessity making hard choices between food, health care, heat and rent. To bring attention to this national crisis, the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD) has designated January as “Poverty in America Awareness Month.” During this special month of observance, we devote our efforts to heightening the nation's understanding of the breadth and depth of the problems of poverty by: MORE AT THIS SITE: http://www.usccb.org/cchd/povertyusa/povamer.shtml

(VIDEO) Freedom of Speech, was denied Andrew Meyer, and should not be swept under the rug. Police brutality in all its brazenness needs to be recognized. This was not just a standard procedure, the way some media outlets would like to paint it as. It was a blatant miscarriage of justice. This happens all to often and in most cases is not captured by film so the police misconduct and ruthless treatment by those who are paid to protect us goes on. The only possible winner in this loathsome show of coarseness may be, to keep the pressure on about how our election system is so full of holes, resulting in votes not being counted and citizens unlawfully banned from the polls. -- Greg Palast, Author - Armed Madhouse People ask me: Are they going to steal the 2008 election? No, they’ve already stolen the 2008 election. We still have a chance of swiping it back... I’ve expanded and put out the new edition of Armed Madhouse, to tell you how they will steal in 2008, and what to do about it.

    THE BUSH ZONE

    by thinkingblue  11-5-2007
I made this page almost two years ago, when I use to clipmark pages without the aid of CLIPMARKS. At that time I enjoyed reading John Cory's articles. He is a Vietnam veteran who received the Purple Heart and Bronze Star with V (Valor) device, 1969 - 1970. I guess he's what Limbaugh would brand a PHONY SOLDIER! He writes with straightforward feelings of Anger and Sorrow, the sentiments most of us have about the long scourge of the Bush/Cheney/Neocon Administration. Almost 7 years of suffering for most and a devastating downward slide into the abyss for our Nation. I thought when the Dems won the slight majority in 2006... all the negatives Bush and his cabal had unleashed would finally start to turn around and become undone. But little has changed, far from enough. The Big Question is... WILL IT EVER END? And The Big Answer is... MAYBE IT'S TOO LATE! All we can do is sit and wait in THE BUSH ZONE... oh yes, and... HOPE that it's not too late! :-?

HEADLINE: U.S. Family, attacked by foreign Mercenaries in AMERICA.

After watching the video, just Imagine if this was a US Family, attacked by foreign Mercenaries in our America. Blackwater, is probably just the tip of the iceberg, when it comes to the secrecy that goes on beyond scrutiny within the neocon Whitehouse. (Cheney quote in Sept 2001 - "The dark side, we'll spend time in the shadows and in the intelligence world... a lot of what needs to be done here will have to be done quietly, without any discussion, using sources and methods that are available to our intelligence agencies.") I wonder what he meant by that..? Perhaps the wheels turning inside the head of Dick Cheney, gave him visions of TELEPHONE TAPPING OF US CITIZENS, TORTURING THOSE WHO GOT CAUGHT IN HIS WEB OF TYRANNY, BUILDING POWERFUL MERCENARY ARMIES PAID FOR BY WE THE TAX PAYERS AND CHERRY PICKING INTELLIGENCE IN ORDER TO STRIKE PREEMPTIVELY, SOVEREIGN NATIONS WITHOUT THE PESKY QUESTIONS THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN ASKED BY A CONGRESS IN A FREE SOCIETY.      Any person who can support a political party who can turn it's back on the poorest in our nation should be nominated to the HALL OF SHAME. But, as usual these unfeeling types, come equipped with a backpack full of rationalizations to ease their consciences. I can understand we all need a good rationalization from time to time but come on ... supporting a political party who can so easily dismiss the poor, or react as though, anyone living in poverty chooses so...that's beyond unfeeling and is apathy, to the point of pathetic...

Ted Rall is America's BS detector (he's got his hands full)
    thinkingblue
    by thinkingblue  9-19-2007    2
Ted Rall (born 1963 in Cambridge, Massachusetts) is a liberal columnist and syndicated editorial cartoonist whose political cartoons often appear in a multi-panel comic-strip format. Ted Rall's Work Style Rall is one of a new breed of editorial cartoonists who began in the alternative weeklies during the 1980s and early 1990s with wordy, abstractly drawn strips about politics and social issues. His abstract drawing style reflects a distinct break from the cross-hatched style developed by Jeff MacNelly during the 1960s, a house style that had become virtually synonymous with American editorial cartooning. CLICK THIS LINK http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/1/19/Rallcartn.png To see a Ted Rall cartoon depicting John Kerry and George W. Bush. Bush is always portrayed as Generalissimo El Busho - a vicious military dictator - in Rall's comics.

BUSH: "My message to him is, when we catch you playing a non-constructive role, there will be a price to pay." (Later, a National Security Council spokesman had to offer a correction, insisting the threat was aimed only at Iran, not Maliki.) Then, to add insult to injury, just a week after Bush and Karzai met in Washington, Ahmadinejad headed for Kabul with a high-ranking Iranian delegation to pay his respects to the Afghan president "in open defiance of Washington's wishes." Think slap in the face. What made this little regional diplomatic dance all the more curious was the fact that Karzai and Maliki are such weak (and weakening) American-backed leaders -- thinkingblue: Everyday in one form or another there is an item of horrifying news coming out of this Iraq occupation by the US. If that isn't enough for Congress to start thinking and acting upon withdrawal then, I guess, nothing will..

A MUST SEE MOVIE "MAXED OUT"
    thinkingblue
    by thinkingblue  7-25-2007    1
BRIEF SYNOPSIS: When Hurricane Katrina ravaged America's Gulf Coast, it laid bare an uncomfortable reality—America is not only far from the world's wealthiest nation; it is crumbling beneath a staggering burden of individual and government debt. Maxed Out takes us on a journey deep inside the American debt-style, where everything seems okay as long as the minimum monthly payment arrives on time. Sure, most of us may have that sinking feeling that something isn't quite right, but we're told not to worry. After all, there's always more credit! Maxed Out shows how the modern financial industry really works, explains the true definition of "preferred customer" and tells us why the poor are getting poorer and the rich getting richer. By turns hilarious and profoundly disturbing, Maxed Out paints a picture of a national nightmare which is all too real for most of us. by thinkingblue  6-25-2007    4
The Fox News or better yet Fox Noise (as Keith Olbermann calls it) is and always has been a joke to me. I use to watch it during the early lead up days to Bush's illegal war against Iraq. Until one day they attempted to demonize Saddam Hussein one step further than they already had with their constant pummeling of HE KILLED HIS OWN PEOPLE http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article1779.htm SADDAM HUSSEIN HAD WMD'S POINTED AT AMERICA and of course, when no weapons were found they bludgeoned their viewers with IT WAS AMERICA'S JOB TO LIBERATE IRAQIS FROM A BRUTAL RULER. But that day when I tuned in (for the last time) and saw a pathetic little dog staggering against a wall and the voiceover said SADDAM HUSSEIN CONDUCTED POISON GAS TESTS ON DOGS... I spoke the word I use frequently when I'm in a state of extreme perplexity... HUH? Let's see now, who was this bit of propaganda directed at? Oh, I know it was for those who don't become alarmed at human beings becoming collateral damage

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia A vulture fund is a financial organization that specializes in buying securities in distressed environments, such as high-yield bonds in or near default, or equities that are in or near bankruptcy. As the name suggests, these funds are metaphorically like circling vultures patiently waiting to pick over the remains of a rapidly weakening company or, in the case of sovereign debt, debtor. Market practitioners prefer to refer to them as distressed debt or special situations funds. Vulture funds focused on debt target not only corporate obligors, but also sovereign debtor states... by thinkingblue  6-6-2007
Why can't we have an America, a world where we respect one another. Why should this be a pipedream of naive people. I feel it could happen, I feel it should happen. If it doesn't, we will not just have wars, we will have annihilation. I am far from a doomsayer but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict the inevitable with all the nuclear weapons, stockpiled around the world and more countries trying or succeeding to get their hands on these WMD's themselves. If we stop laughing at those who champion peace instead of conflict to solve problems... maybe someday peace and cooperation will have the reverence it should. www.thinkingblue.blogspot.com

Get involved, if $7.00 a month is all it takes, let's give it a try. I can afford $7.00 a month for America to become AMERICA once again, can you?
