POPSFight The Republican Whelp Operation The Republican Smear Campaign is in Full Swing trying to win the '08 election with fabrications, distortions, lies and nasty name calling... It's Yogi Bearer's déjà vu all over again. Why do people listen and believe this nonsense? This should have been left in grade school a long, long time ago. They say children can be mean... Well childhood has nothing on the Republican "YO MAMA WEARS COMBAT BOOTS" campaigning. Join the "Truth fights back" movement ... sign up today and let's stop the very old "REPUBLICAN WHELP" operation in their tracks. This will not heal America it will only weaken her more! POPSGet Your Morning Laugh Here The Young Turks is a show that can really give you a few chuckles. The host Cenk Uygur, is a funny guy. He sure called the shots on McCain describing him as a mumbling, grumbling, bumbling old man. Thanks Cenk, I needed that pick-me-up. Sorry McCain, if the shoe fits... Wear It! ;-) ---- (If the shoe fits, wear it) If something belongs or pertains to you, accept it. This proverb first appeared as “if the cap fits,” which may have referred to a fool’s cap. The later version has become more common and is associated with the glass slipper in the fairy tale, “Cinderella.”

POPSA truth article about this election - BITTER POLITICS A truth article about politics... But it wasn't just the media. In a recent Sunday talk-show appearance, McCain was eager to delve--unprompted--into yet another discussion about Bill Ayers, while Clinton invoked her affinity for her small-town brethren by recounting her girlhood shooting lessons. In other words, multimillionaire McCain, the millionaire pundit class and the millionaire Clintons all spent the last weeks waging a culture war against a man who spent most of his career organizing in or representing the South Side of Chicago. It was enough to make one cling to religion. What was so dispiriting about this spectacle wasn't its nastiness. Politics in a democracy will always be rancorous; it's the nonviolent means we've established to referee conflicting interests. No, it was the sheer staleness: the run-up to Pennsylvania was dominated by the umpteenth iteration of a clash of fabricated caricatures. More below:

POPSRace doesn't matter - YES WE CAN! This title says it all. This is the most exciting time politically that I have seen in my umpteen years of voting. The long infinite stretch of dirty politics or politics as usual is ending. At least we can all hope it is. I just finished another youtube project of talking heads who try to lead us down a path of gloom, a path of NOT IN OUR INTEREST. If you care to view it you can find it here. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mL4HwogMIOU

POPSWill Government Ever Learn From The Past? I doubt it. Today's Delancey's Place Tidbit, gives a brief encounter of what happened when the US Government "forced" a whole nation to go dry. What followed was a horrific scene of "forced" drunkenness, "forced" crime and "forced" misery... Today's Government "forced" War on Drugs has produced similar anguish especially for those who seek marijuana to relieve pain and suffering. Not to mention, if this so-called Governmental War on Drugs would lax some of its absurdities, the revenue collected from such sales would help the sinking economy. But it is not about a failing policy, it's all about politics and getting elected. Common sense, must take a back seat once again. Stupidity continues to rule, as time marches on! thinkingblue

POPSJust who are the nuts amongst us? Dennis Kucinich and Ron Paul are considered odd and strange by their parties. When I listen to either of them, I think... IF THESE GUYS ARE :"STRANGE" or "NUTS" ... WHAT THE HELL IS NORMAL???

POPSALL MY LIFE, TROUBLE IN AMERICA. Why can't we have an America, a world where we respect one another. Why should this be a pipedream of naive people. I feel it could happen, I feel it should happen. If it doesn't, we will not just have wars, we will have annihilation. I am far from a doomsayer but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to predict the inevitable with all the nuclear weapons, stockpiled around the world and more countries trying or succeeding to get their hands on these WMD's themselves. If we stop laughing at those who champion peace instead of conflict to solve problems... maybe someday peace and cooperation will have the reverence it should. www.thinkingblue.blogspot.com
