Another NASA orbiting telescope, this one is in a larger orbit than the Hubble telescope. Using parallax , it gives astronomers "depth perception", making it easier to more accurately estimate the distance to far objects.

Astronomy Picture of the Day This short film is awesome. Truly an amazing vision. This really makes me regret not buying a telescope and all the accessories for photography when I could afford it. But observing vicariously is second best.
