POPSParis Hilton out of prison for medical reasons All that I can say is..... Unbelievable. If she really did have a VALID medical condition, it would have kept her out of jail in the first place. So much for ".. and justice for all" on an equal level. The perks of the "aristocracy"... If Paris were a young black male from the south side of Chicago, the jail sentence would have stood at the original sentence. disclaimer: I am not a young black male from the south side of Chicago, nor am I a communist, marxist, or any other political "-ist". I'm just a "regular guy".

POPSZooming into the Pelican Nebula Astronomy Picture of the Day This short film is awesome. Truly an amazing vision. This really makes me regret not buying a telescope and all the accessories for photography when I could afford it. But observing vicariously is second best.

POPSTake a look in the mirror I have to admit that this (looking in the mirror) can be difficult sometimes; at least it can be for me. Like many others, I've got some unpleasant "skeletons in my closet", but I am struggling to exorcise those demons. Recognizing our own past can make this short poem rather poignant.

POPSDam Threatens Ancient Buddhist Stone Carvings Another case of modernism destroying history. I know nothing of politics, science, economy, etc., and I'm sure that this dam will be a major boon to the country of Pakistan and it's citizens, but the country's (and the world's) history needs to be saved, rather than destroyed.
