POPSBush To Prod G-8 Leaders On AIDS Funding What a crappy attempt to be seen as a good person and trying to divert attention from his masters, the corporations and drug companies, who will happily watch the world die while they fiddle with greed and corruption.

POPSEx-worker on Crusade Against Chemical Plant A good article, showing why it is virtually impossible to beat the lies and corruption. To me, the fact that they say they have cleaned things up, means there were problems when they took over. Where is the clause for retrospective situations

POPSIstiklal The oil that was their independence, has become their chain.

POPS Olmert 'took cash in envelopes' Politicians can't get away with bribes if they are not popular. Gotta have charisma, greed and be good at the job. They all do it, if you judge by the number getting caught.

POPSIsrael 'committing memorycide' Going the way of the people who think they can kill because a god is on their side, and then achieve glory in some afterlife if they stop banging the secretaries once they turn 60 ( when they start groping)

POPSChina quake despair turns to anger I suppose the press was bound to find an area to "blame". It is a pity, but corruption rulz. Darwin, after the cyclone in !974, was full of shonky builders (many were not, I am quick to add) who offered bribes to the housing inspectors. Not all rebuilt houses were cyclone proof. It would be interesting to compare all countries. The experience we have had with toys made in China is proof enough that there is corruption there as well.

POPS Olmert faces new corruption probe And so the Iraqis know that they are not the only ones living with corruption. (This goes well with the earlier clip about McCain and his corruption.)

POPSCayman Islands Bank Gets Wikileaks Taken Offline in US The Julius Baer Bank, a Swiss bank with a division in the Cayman Islands, took issue with documents that were published on Wikileaks by an unidentified whistleblower, whom the bank claims is the former vice president of its Cayman Islands operation, Rudolf Elmer. The documents purport to provide evidence that the Cayman Islands bank helps customers hide assets and wash funds.

POPSUS orders massive recall of beef Official obviously not too worried because the meat wasn't to be consumed by the rich and powerful. Anyway, most has been eaten because we were so slow to react.

POPSArmy Documents Related to Halliburton Subsidiary’s No-Bid Iraq Contract Through the request and lawsuit, Judicial Watch obtained an e-mail that shows possible involvement of Cheney in the awarding of the contract. The March 5, 2003 e-mail titled “RIO Status Update” says that a Pentagon official arranged for the contract for KBR "contingent on informing" the White House. It said "We anticipate no issue; since action has been coordinated w VP’s office."

POPSHundreds caught up in licence probe Reminds me of the case in India or Pakistan where a crim set up a licence office to conduct extortion from. Proved so successful, the whole village finished up with work ( I suppose there was a fee, just to keep the extortionist happy.

POPSPolice block Malaysia protest Another pseudo democracy which doesn't believe in freedom of speech (unless the govt is manipulating it against people they don't like).

POPSScooter Libby Cries Uncle The decision also reflects the political reality that if the appellate court granted a new trial, it would probably occur during the administration of the next president, who might not share Bush’s interest in helping his former official. Apparently the White House doesn't comment on the President granting pardons. Corruption, corruption and more corruption. I have become very sympathetic for the real people of America since using this site. Rattle those pots and pans.
