About me
A simple skwirl that likes to fantasize about everything. Living below poverty I struggle to keep my broadband connection paid up.
I have 1 wife, 4 children, 1 grandson, 4 dogs and 2 kitties.
What I lack in coin I gain in love.
I served in the USNCB for 7 years in the 80's and I have been to the mediterrainian and arctic circle (bluenose).
I've lived all down the eastern, southern and northern seaboard of the USA and only been to the Rockies once when I went to Denver to visit.
I have a Christian upbringing but I consider myself spiritual not religious. I try not to concern myself with other people's personal lives. I try to imagine and empathize with others issues. I see a half glass of water...I drink it and ask for some more then offer it to you.
I have 'virtually' been back/forward in time, been to all of the planets and a few star systems (Thanks to www). I play games, listen to anything but rap and classical and love works of art. My interest in surfing porn ended in the 90's. Work= iosoigo
I have a wide sense of humor but I am sick of bashers.
If you can't offer a solution don't bitch about it.
Why I use Clipmarks
The thing that makes clipmarks so special is the community. I have people I almost consider family.

I have learned much more about a much wider range than I ever did on www alone. More importantly, I have recognised a 'world view' and changed my thinking based on a better understanding of the human opinion.

The story starts in 2038. There are two missions on Mars, a small Japanese Space Agency mission in Ares Valley, and a large NASA mission in Kasei Valley, 1700 miles to the west. Early on, the JSA mission suffers a crippling failure, and its sole survivor, an elderly scientist who is also a Zen master, faces certain death from starvation. As the story opens, the NASA landing site is devastated by a catastrophe, caused by a funding shortfall that forces the mission to run risks. There are only two survivors, an American and a Frenchwoman, who were away on a rover expedition. Two of the mission's three long-range, nuclear-powered rovers also survive, but the surviving food will run out in only two weeks. News of the catastrophe is received with shock on Earth. Next day, there is an emergency hearing on the disaster in Washington, attended by the world's space agency chiefs, and watched worldwide. The JSA chief drops the first bombshell, when she reveals that the Zen master in

Publisher's Weekly There is no greater danger to a novelist than the ``bright ideas,'' the seemingly hilarious notion that requires, if it is to come off, steady comic invention, freshness and originality, the sense of something new under the sun. Berger's wimpy protagonist Fred Wagner, a would-be novelist employed to write ad copy for schlocky novelty merchandise, proves unequal to his creator's admittedly intriguing premise. Equipped with the gift of making himself invisible, Fred encounters strange new worldsoffice sex, for example, as practiced by his boss, a woman who ministers to her boss when not more gainfully occupied. Fred himself has as much as he can handle with the blowsy redhead who is his neighbor and the featherbrained colleague who can't write her way out of a subordinate clause. These hijinks fall flat; the sex comedy does not induce laughter; even Berger's (The Feud generally energetic prose is trite. Early on we are assured that ``through being invisible Wag

Set in the not too distant future of 2205, and using fictional legislation implemented in 1991, Native Tongue is an intriguing depiction of a world where women are property, aliens are trading partners, and inherent ability to learn languages is a goldmine inherent only in certain families. What few realise is that a revolution is already underway, and the women deemed least essential are empowering all women to fight back against male dominance. Working through the hypothesis that 'science fiction is our best and most powerful resource for trying out social changes before we make them' Suzette Haden-Elgin has written a powerful exploration of society and gender relations.   The Illuminati: inside joke - or hellish conspiracy? Were they harmless cranks? Or a hellish conspiracy of psychotic lost souls hidden for centuries, unleashing a weird evil on an unsuspecting, defenceless world? It was Saul Goodman's lousy luck to pick up the trail from some underground memos in a bombed-out office. It was the heavy case he always dreaded. So it was that one tired cop set out on a wild, bizarre quest for a secret society that spanned centuries, crossed continents, drugged generations - and stooped to any depth of degradation to self-destruct a whole world.. In the far-out vein of Vonnegut's humour and Castaneda's mind-games, here is Illuminatus - part 1 - the closest thing to a cosmic kaleidoscope between soft covers. Or a bone-freezing blueprint of disaster to come? The Eye in the Pyramid (The first book in the Illuminatus! series)

Expansive, sprawling, unruly and oversized - like his stomach and everything about him, the memoirs of the most beloved comic figure in the history of literature take the unsuspecting reader into the world of a character so audacious that, apparently, even the Bard himself could not do him justice. Larger-than-life, irascible and still lecherous at the advanced age of eighty-one, Falstaff recounts these outrageously bawdy tales as an antidote to popular legend that are guaranteed to tell you some things you never thought you needed to know about his life and times. Who killed Hotspur? What really went on at the battle of Agincourt? And what was it that made the wives of Windsor so merry? As we romp through history with this most entertaining of guides, the Middle Ages come alive in a rich tapestry of sights and sounds in another stunning novel from the author of The Late Mr Shakespeare.   In the summer of 1940 the Germans prepared to launch Operation Sea Lion, the invasion of England. The British, barely recovered from Dunkirk, rallied their defenses. Both sides operated in great secrecy and, because the invasion never took place, the dramatic preparations for what would have been one of the watershed battles of history faded from memory. Not, however, before Peter Fleming rescued this fascinating story from military archives and the recollections of survivors who were involved. Invasion 1940 (Operation Sea Lion)
