About me
A simple skwirl that likes to fantasize about everything. Living below poverty I struggle to keep my broadband connection paid up.
I have 1 wife, 4 children, 1 grandson, 4 dogs and 2 kitties.
What I lack in coin I gain in love.
I served in the USNCB for 7 years in the 80's and I have been to the mediterrainian and arctic circle (bluenose).
I've lived all down the eastern, southern and northern seaboard of the USA and only been to the Rockies once when I went to Denver to visit.
I have a Christian upbringing but I consider myself spiritual not religious. I try not to concern myself with other people's personal lives. I try to imagine and empathize with others issues. I see a half glass of water...I drink it and ask for some more then offer it to you.
I have 'virtually' been back/forward in time, been to all of the planets and a few star systems (Thanks to www). I play games, listen to anything but rap and classical and love works of art. My interest in surfing porn ended in the 90's. Work= iosoigo
I have a wide sense of humor but I am sick of bashers.
If you can't offer a solution don't bitch about it.
Why I use Clipmarks
The thing that makes clipmarks so special is the community. I have people I almost consider family.

I have learned much more about a much wider range than I ever did on www alone. More importantly, I have recognised a 'world view' and changed my thinking based on a better understanding of the human opinion.
Where to find me on the web

From Treating Disease To Establishing Health
skwirlinator
by skwirlinator  9-19-2007    5
Once biologists have described normal molecules, cells, and tissues, properly programmed repair machines will be able to cure even unknown diseases. Once researchers describe the range of structures that (for example) a healthy liver may have, repair machines exploring a malfunctioning liver need only look for differences and correct them. Machines ignorant of a new poison and its effects will still recognize it as foreign and remove it. Instead of fighting a million strange diseases, advanced repair machines will establish a state of health.

From Drugs to Cell Repair Machines
skwirlinator
by skwirlinator  9-19-2007    4
To repair a car, a mechanic first reaches the faulty assembly, then identifies and removes the bad parts, and finally rebuilds or replaces them. Cell repair will involve the same basic tasks - tasks that living systems already prove possible. Access. White blood cells leave the bloodstream and move through tissue, and viruses enter cells. Biologists even poke needles into cells without killing them. These examples show that molecular machines can reach and enter cells. Recognition. Antibodies and the tail fibers of the T4 phage - and indeed, all specific biochemical interactions - show that molecular systems can recognize other molecules by touch. Disassembly. Digestive enzymes (and other, fiercer chemicals) show that molecular systems can disassemble damaged molecules. Rebuilding. Replicating cells show that molecular systems can build or rebuild every molecule found in a cell. Reassembly. Nature also shows that separated molecules can be put back together again. The ma
