About me
A simple skwirl that likes to fantasize about everything. Living below poverty I struggle to keep my broadband connection paid up.
I have 1 wife, 4 children, 1 grandson, 4 dogs and 2 kitties.
What I lack in coin I gain in love.
I served in the USNCB for 7 years in the 80's and I have been to the mediterrainian and arctic circle (bluenose).
I've lived all down the eastern, southern and northern seaboard of the USA and only been to the Rockies once when I went to Denver to visit.
I have a Christian upbringing but I consider myself spiritual not religious. I try not to concern myself with other people's personal lives. I try to imagine and empathize with others issues. I see a half glass of water...I drink it and ask for some more then offer it to you.
I have 'virtually' been back/forward in time, been to all of the planets and a few star systems (Thanks to www). I play games, listen to anything but rap and classical and love works of art. My interest in surfing porn ended in the 90's. Work= iosoigo
I have a wide sense of humor but I am sick of bashers.
If you can't offer a solution don't bitch about it.
Why I use Clipmarks
The thing that makes clipmarks so special is the community. I have people I almost consider family.

I have learned much more about a much wider range than I ever did on www alone. More importantly, I have recognised a 'world view' and changed my thinking based on a better understanding of the human opinion.

Americans and their Behavior

Nice blog- give it a read- They are "very" proud of their country. To them, the Universe is the United States . So never ever make fun of or speak lightly about them or tell them that they do not have any social/cultural background. You will make more American friends that way.

So what awaits us in 2012 basically is an open question. And as with so many open questions, countless doom preachers, semi-prophets and other crackpots pop up to provide an answer. The interpretation you hear most: 2012 will mark the coming of a new, glorious age of wisdom and peace. It will be Age Of Aquarius at last, with a world full of peace, love and understanding.

Black Hole Factories
skwirlinator
by skwirlinator  6-12-2007
First, you should know that in principle, making a black hole is easy. Basically, the only thing you need to do is to slam two tiny, subatomic particles together in a particle accelerator. According to some calculations, this super particle accelerator could summon up one black hole every second! There they are: black hole, black hole, black hole; Pop! Pop! Pop! Now suppose that against all expectations, these baby black holes aren’t the fleeting, unstable mini monsters we expect them to be. Suppose they’re stable. At first, no one would notice. They wouldn’t eat up the lab or something. Instead, they would escape. One by one, the baby black holes would leak away from the lab, going through concrete walls as if they didn’t exist. If you’re that small, traveling through solid objects is no problem: you just rarely bump into a molecule. And then? Slowly, our refugee black holes would begin to sink towards the center of the Earth, attracted by gravity. And there, they would sit and

Trouble With Terrorists
skwirlinator

An even more evil way to spread your doomsday disease around, is by letting animals do it for you. This takes a little extra research. Find out what animals carry your germ, preferably animals that don't go ill themselves. Most diseases have such a ‘carrier animal’: SARS, for example, gets carried around from human to human by common house cats.

Quantum Apocalypse
skwirlinator
by skwirlinator  6-12-2007
Sure, the lump of strange matter that showed up was incredibly small. But that changed within moments, as the `strangelet' began gobbling up all positively charged atomic nuclei it encountered, forming more strange matter. The blob grew and grew, eating the accelerator, the building around it, and the town around the building. It turned everything it encountered into more atom-eating strange matter. It was ice-9 at its best. Within seconds, our entire planet including everything on it became a strange matter planet.
