Arctic ice melting 30 years too soon

    by pokkets  5-2-2007
Many of the temperature, and climate changes over Earth's history, happened over geological time, apart from a number of mass extinction events which were due to specific cataclysmic events such as volcanoes, meteors, perpetual winters. which dramatically changed the dynamics of the environment. The changes we see today have happened in one lifetime. I can imagine some Aliens arriving in 2015, asking if we would like the mess cleaned up, because it was the only way to save the planet. In 30 seconds the Human race would be extinct after the aliens had come to an agreement with a net based subroutine which was mankind's first attempt to create a computer that could give independent advice. (The internet seemed like it was the only thing on the planet that the Aliens could have a rational conversation with.

I turned off my electricity (except for refrigerator) for one hour tonight to join the Worldwide SHUTDOWN campaign. We must use our inner resource to find the solutions. Plant more trees. Install awnings on your windows. I like to hear your ideas that you apply to cool your the Earth and your home.
