POPSTextbook Disclaimer Stickers Wording for the first disclaimer (top left) is taken verbatim from the sticker designed by the Cobb County School District ("A community with a passion for learning") in Georgia, which actually plagiarized Alabama's evolution disclaimer ( view ). Really, I'm not making any of this up. The other 14 are mildly educational variants that demonstrate the real meaning of a scientific "theory" as well as the true motivations of the School Board members and their creationist supporters. Ideally, the above stickers will deter other districts from using textbook disclaimers as a way to undermine the teaching of evolution.

POPSIlliteracy causing health problems, deaths I wonder if it's a matter of not being able to read, or not being able to read English. I know a lot of people get annoyed when they have to 'press 1 for English', but in such matters of life and death, perhaps someone should translate instructions on prescription bottles into all the major languages and just choose the speaker's lnguage for the sticker. I like the sticker idea too.

POPSLow Information Voters I run into these people a lot here in Georgia. People that make up their minds based on bumper stickers and 30 second TV ads. In a country with such promise, there is a huge swath of people that are, IMO, wasting the potential of this free society to learn, grow, and advance the human condition. Dare I use the word shallow?

And because Einstein was an atheist, it must certainly be incorrect. This textbook suggests that the origin of life was a natural event. Because this view undermines the whole point of most religions, readers are encouraged to burn this book along with the author.
