POPSSteele as RNC Chair Idle speculation, but this would be interesting... I wonder if all the negative campaigning would hurt his chances, though I did hear a lot of commentary about how strong a campaign he ran. This would also be interesting as he very publicly distanced himself from Bush several times during his race. Should be fun to monitor.

POPSNY Times Opinion on the Border Fence I've never been a fan of the border fence. It seems to me that it's only going to keep out the lazy, not the determined. I don't think that spending billions to build (how much to maintain?!) a fence that won't be very effective makes any sense.

POPSPoll Results on VA Marriage Ban Not sure what to think of this amendment yet - I need to read the actual text. But the poll split between Northern Virginia and the rest of the state are interesting, especially compared to the national numbers...
