How many people do you think were bitter they didn't get something directly for themselves? Maybe I'm just cynical, but I'm guessing people wanted a car or to be out of debt. Great move by Oprah, though. More charitable works are needed in our society.

Again, can't say I agree with O'Reilly - I am much more on the side of the audience member here. However, what O'Reilly said make me want to read up more on the ACLU to find a good counter argument to his assertion that they have transformed to a political machine rather than a civil rights watchdog.

One of the more insightful exchanges from Bill O'Reilly on Oprah. Can't say that I agreee with everything he says, by any means. However, he was very clear and coherent on this show and I think he engaged mostly in actual debate rather than ranting as he is wont to do on his show.
