POPSWar Propaganda or Reality? It's really hard to tell what's true these days. I don't doubt that insurgents and terrorists are Internet-savvy and are interested in the results of the US elections. I'm not sure that I buy the fact that they want Bush to be weakened. Intelligence sources have confirmed that strong US presence is a great recruiting source for them. A weaker Bush might lead to less recruiting. It might not, though... Either way, starting a new propaganda unit to fight the terrorists seems like an odd move --- mostly because the propaganda will be directed as much at the US people as it is at Iraqis. I would rather have better raw news sources than filtered information through any such unit.

POPSO'Reilly on Oprah; Speaking On Iraq One of the more insightful exchanges from Bill O'Reilly on Oprah. Can't say that I agreee with everything he says, by any means. However, he was very clear and coherent on this show and I think he engaged mostly in actual debate rather than ranting as he is wont to do on his show.
