POPSspelling pollution my older kids think this is torture... but my 7 yo likes it... back in the day... educational TV had more going for it, I think!

POPSborn belief although I can see the point- there is no reason to expect that the average 6-7 year old child has never heard about God,( school, TV, other kids, grown ups all could have introduced this information) so the study, although interesting lacks this measure of control that would make it legit.

POPSPrivate schools and special ed this is puzzling to me also. In my state, homeschools are considered private schools, and so if the school district has an obligation to bring services to us in the case of special education...how come so many of us have to PAY for those services and then go to another school to get them? not that I would necessarily want them to bring their services to us.. Homeschooling is an ideal environment for special education, and I don't think that as many homeschooled kids will require it from another source.

POPSschool of choice anyone? We used to live where there was choice and loved it! I hope it comes back and comes to everyone.... I might even consider sending kids back to PS if this happens

POPSANTI_ ABORTIONISTS!!!!! BOY they sure took freedom of choice away from these people! I just can't believe that they had the nerve to show those bloody pictures and then try to tell those young women that they HAD to go through 9 months of pregnancy and RUIN THEIR LIVES!!! Look how BAD everything turned out! (sarcasm, of course- even one baby was worth it. YAY!
