Morris Louis has long been one of my favorite painters. If you have the chance his works are definitely worth seeing in person. They seem to sing to you from the walls.

POPS Stolen or Owned? Art to return to Italy

I think it is important that art that has truly been looted be returned to the place it was looted from; I simultaneously feel that art from all cultures should be available in some way to as many cultures as possible. Simply seeing a photo isn't the same thing as seeing the real pot, or painting, or whatever. I'm glad some of the work will remain with Princeton.
