As this article illustrates, I think the answer is usually no. Most dads differ to moms when it comes to parenting or they resort to authoritarian ideas of disciplinary roles. This has changes, fortunately, over the years and more fathers are taking a shared role in parenting. What else can we do to help dads get involved?
