POPSBush invokes faith to defend war policy His assumption is that everyone believes. His other assumption is everyone is Christian. That is two strikes on his justification. So at the moment he is breaking the US guidelines on separation of Church and State. I think the Romans tried the same approach centuries ago - enforcing the logic of War based on their religion?

POPS Leadership blamed for shabby Army hospital building This is such a crock, how could they not know about it - I mean the president and top brass go visit those injured as do many congress people. It isn't that they didn't know about it, it is that they don't want to spend the money and rather look the other way and dump money into more killing machines then helping those who risked their lives for our country.

POPSIraqis use internet to survive war I really feel bad for the average people that are caught in the middle of this war. A war of government(s) and corporations - rather then of the common Iraqi. One can almost compare this to the US Civil War and gain an understanding of what it must have been like to be forced into fitting within - brother versus brother.

POPSSenator Feingold’s opening statement "These are direct quotes from the Constitution of the United States. Yet to hear some in the Administration talk, it is as if these provisions were written in invisible ink."

POPS Senators to Bush: Stay out of Iran They need to remove and replace the whole Bush administration NOW, before King Bush gets more of our military killed and leads us further into WW3. These Senators have given too much to Bush already -- REMOVE his Power!

POPSArmy to spread burden of combat Whoever this guy is deserves 9 medals of honor for having to go their 9 times. "Fort Bragg in North Carolina, where many Special Forces soldiers are based, is home to the Army's most-deployed soldier. That soldier, whom the Army declined to identify, has been sent to Iraq or Afghanistan nine times."

POPSRumsfeld tells war critics to 'back off' What an Asshole! I like how he can be care free at spending our tax dollars. "You ought to just back off, take a look at it, relax, understand that it's complicated, it's difficult," Rumsfeld said regarding deadlines. "Honorable people are working on these things together. There isn't any daylight between them." "Rumsfeld also said the U.S. is considering whether it should speed up money planned for recruiting, training and equipping Iraqi security forces. Officials have said training Iraqis to take over security is key to withdrawing U.S. and other coalition forces."

POPSLetter From Kevin Tillman on Iraq War "Somehow American leadership, whose only credit is lying to its people and illegally invading a nation, has been allowed to steal the courage, virtue and honor of its soldiers on the ground. " SPOT ON!

POPSIran President Says Country Does Not Need Nuclear Bomb I would agree with him that nuclear weapons are archiac. There are much cheaper, quicker and more painful ways to cause destruction (aka: bio-chem). Perhaps he is correct and they are just using it to make energy? Perhaps I will hit the lottery this weekend as well (btw: I never play).

POPSEndurance Meets Doubt in Iraq - Soldier's Stories “As a soldier, I am going to do whatever we got to do,” he said. “As a personal opinion, I don’t think we need to be in this city, period. How much money and how many soldiers is it going to take when these people don’t want our help? They just don’t. We don’t even know who we can trust.”
