POPSCalls grow for U.S. to bail out homeowners, prevent foreclosures Yeah - great way to spend our tax dollars. If people were dumb enough to live beyond their means, that is there problem. There are plenty of rentals out there. No one said they need to own a home. I feel bad for the ones tricked into refinancing, but again - should not be our tax dollars used to fix their mess.

POPSFeds Train Clergy To "Quell Dissent" During Martial Law With the growing number of atheists and many people who follow other paths, it seems this article does not take into account that most people under 35 will probably never listen to clergy anyway. Besides the fact the article is funny, it also illustrates some bad assumptions on part of the writer, that clergy have some special power or something.

POPSA Peek Inside DARPA This is probably the only place in government where people with true intelligence and skills exist.

POPSEthanol could leave the world hungry This is crazy. There could be plenty of corn and other grains. The problem is that the government for the last 20 years has paid farmers, NOT to FARM. Mainly this blaance the supply/demand. If all these lands start famring, there can be plenty. It will just piss off those who make money in the Futures market and also those making money in the Oil and Gas stocks.

POPS How Any 13 Year Old Kid Can Become A Millionaire I like the part he mentions about how College is a government Gated process. Actually he is a smart kid. If I knew what I know now, I think I would have saved the $$ I spent on college and applied them elsewhere.

POPS VA laptop recovered; FBI says data not accessed I still do not understand why all the data (26.5 million records) was on someones laptop. That has to be the stupidest IT person ever to even consider putting that much data to a portable device. Makes you wonder how secure any of our gov't systems are. Next someone will report a missing laptop with all missle launch codes or something...uggh!

POPSBush Turns to Big Military Contractors for Border Control Noting again - it sems Contractors are getting the $$. I don't see Haliburton mentioned, but hey...maybe they are flying low. Also considering that these companies are saying they will have bids submitted in 2 weeks, well that must mean someone knew about this months ago, since there is no way any company can complete bids for that amount of $$$ in only two weeks, let alone a government contract. This raises the issue of just where are our tax dollars going again and how much WASTE is there.
