POPS Table Mate TV Tray: Potential Laptop Table?

Since all I use are laptops at home now and on road trips, I have been looking for some mechasim that is portable, cheap, and easy to setup that would allow me to put my laptop on. After seeing some other clips of why not to put your laptop on your lap. I am thinking these little tables would be ideal for laptop tables. They look simple enough to fold and unfold and certainly shoudl fit in the trunk of the car. Anyone ever tried these?
