POPSJames Dobson accuses Obama of `distorting' Bible Obama is correct on this. Dobson and Minnery are basically slamming those who do not acknowledge the New Testament - where Obama is at least acknowledging the Old and New. What irritates me about religion are those that think their version is the absolute truth (Dobbs/Minnery as an example) since they are no different then the radical Islamic groups.

POPSBush invokes faith to defend war policy His assumption is that everyone believes. His other assumption is everyone is Christian. That is two strikes on his justification. So at the moment he is breaking the US guidelines on separation of Church and State. I think the Romans tried the same approach centuries ago - enforcing the logic of War based on their religion?

POPSLunar eclipse to shade Moon red " I looked when He broke the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth made of hair, and the whole moon became like blood;" - Revelation 6:12

POPS'Inconvenient Truth' called too controversial Now we will have 7 more brainwashed people she created believing the same falsifications: "said Frosty Hardison, a parent of seven who also said that he believes the Earth is 14,000 years old. "The information that's being presented is a very cockeyed view of what the truth is. ... The Bible says that in the end times everything will burn up, but that perspective isn't in the DVD.""

POPSGa. mother seeks Harry Potter ban Another whacko! Heck, they might want to ban the jewish and muslim stories from their schools too or why not remove all the books that talk about alternative religons or beliefs. Mankind is doomed with people like this in society.

POPSSurviving 'Jesus Camp' These people are totally INSANE. What parent would let someone put tape over their childs mouth. This is TOTAL brain washing.

POPSCrying Kids Pray Over George Bush At Jesus Camp So if these statements are true, then I would say these people are the nuts of the christian world. They are not quite Mr. Jones level brainwashed and were not given any Kool-aid at camp. But certinaly this: In the film, the children cheered when asked if they'd be willing to give up their lives for Jesus, prayed over a cardboard cutout of President George W. Bush and cried as they pleaded for an end to abortion, the Los Angeles Times reported. The paper said that one of the children is home-schooled by a mother who teaches that "science doesn't prove anything." illustrates they are at the same level as the nutty muslim extremists. So those arguing the Muslims are bad -- um -- we def. have some nuts in the Christian world.....

POPSRevelation 13 --- an interesting perspective I "stumbled upon" this and while some points are whacky - there is some interesting points this guy has made. Not so much the religous side - but the aspects of the various countries and such - that we are seeing in the news at present. Granted page dates of a site can change - but it looks like this dude had much of this written two years ago. I just find it interesting the various correlations. Yes, I know anything can be used to make anything seem real -- the current administration has illustrated that ;-)

POPSWHAT THE QUR'AN REALLY SAYS I had to post this as a clip as I think this guy aligns things correctly. Too many radicals mis-interpret not only the Qur'an, but the Bible as well (remember Wako TX and branch dividians). Regardless of the religous texts - the main premise is that we are all suppose to get along. Somewhere - greed and laziness took over mankind - not to mention stupidity. Thus brings us to our current Chapter in all the books - somewhere around Revelations perhaps?
